From out of the darkness that surrounded the battlefield, Ansem stepped out. He moved to the far end of the battlefield and waited quietly for his opponet, Genesis. He had not had a chance to meet this particular warrior, but he could sense the darkness that his opponet held and smirked. A strong opponet...good.
As his opponet came out onto the field, Ansem used his natrual abilities over darkness to float in the air and then summon the heartless guardian from his shadow. Without waiting to see what his opponet would do, his guardian charged up slightly and then switching hands rapidly (starting with the left), it unleashed six circular blades of dark energy at the opponet, completing Ansem's Shock Slash techinque. As soon as the blades were unleashed, Ansem floated forward until he was within range to strike at his opponet. Hoping the blades had at the least distracted his opponet, the guardian moved to the right and made a swipe at Gensis aiming to strike him across the chest.

What other way could one enter a battlefield than with a slow, yet powerful, walk onto the field? Already in hand, his rapier was held with a demeaning grin upon his face. Looking down his opponent he sighed at the thought of how easy this opponent would be. There was strong aura of darkness protruding from him but it was nothing to show a fear for. It was an aura of pure darkness more or less a "given" power. The power didn't seem to be embraced to it's fullest potential, even if his opponent would beg to differ. He even retreated to the far end of the battlefield. Wouldn't anyone want to take the dead center?
Going on the mistake of his opponent, Genesis stopped his entry in the dead center of the battlefield. He stood firm and confident in his position awaiting to see if his opponent would take the first move. Without a delay in his waiting Ansem, as the bulletin had stated, began to activate his power. He perched his eyebrows up and the extreme rise in his energy. It great to know his opponent was stronger than first glance. With the appearance of the guardian behind Ansem, Genesis quickly entered his battle stance holding his rapier up high in front of him. He had never seen anything like this before in battle but was sure it was nothing to take too much notice in.
Then the battle began. The Guardian shriveled and began to throw blades towards Genesis. Using his monstrous abilities, Genesis blitzed towards the Heartless being. With each arrival of a blade he moved his sword to block the impact and toss it to the side. Each slash literally throwing the blades off to the side and off from their initial route of movement. Upon getting close to make contact, Ansem didn't seem to fear anything as the Guardian moved in to take a hit at him. Genesis stopped completely shielding himself with the sword but being pushed back as a result. To not stumble over Genesis did a back-flip and landed in a kneel which pushed him back even more. The power of the Guardian was not to be underestimated but as a result the black-winged angel figured out the Heartless' strategy.
It was now his turn.
Genesis stood completely up from his kneel position and placed his hand out in front of the Heartless. His hand began to glow with pure darkness and with a push of force the darkness flew towards the Ansem taking the form of black feathers activating his Black Flurry attack. If able to get contact with Ansem it would be possible curse him leading to his moves to take longer in order to be used. However, that wasn't his only plan. The feathers could easily block the vision of what the monster could do. After his initial attack moved forward his wing pushed out of the left side of his body and he took to the sky with majestic speed.
Unsure how the first attack would take place, he still knew flew down on the opponent with a slash down Ansem's body.

With his Shock Slash and the swipe easily blocked by his opponent, Ansem smiled, pleased that his opponent did not disappoint him. He watched as Genesis did a back flip and then slid backwards from him on one knee. He watched the young man rise to his feet, then raised his arm and held his hand out towards him. As he did this, dark energy gathered around the opponent's hand and then was finally shot at him in the form of black feathers. While Ansem easily floated out the way of the feathers, making whatever effect they would've had on him had they touched useless, the feathers did their job well distracting him.
When out of range of the blinding black feathers, Ansem noticed his opponent was gone, but thanks to the his sensitivity to energy, he was able to find his opponent again. He looked up at Genesis and saw him coming down upon at an amazing speed. On instinct, he floated back. As he did this time seemed to slow down. Genesis came down as he backed up, the blade barely missing him as it slicked through a stray hair as the blade went by dangerously close to his body. The whole ordeal was only a few seconds, but it was enough for Ansem to understand just how powerful this opponent was.
With his opponent back on the ground, Ansem reacted to the attack by moving forward as his guardian charged dark energy around its fist. When in range, the Guardian made another swipe at Genesis, but unlike last time this swipe was more vicious and filled with dark energy. The strong Power Swipe came from the right side of Genesis. While he was sure that Genesis could dodge the attack, he moved around the the man and aimed another attack at him just in case.
"Submit!" was all he said before the guardian moved in front of him and swung downwards at Genesis in an attempt to possess him.

Keeping his blade steady, Genesis continued his slash down with full commitment. The Heartless was more fluent in his motion than Genesis had initially intended, thus his blade his barely missed his target. He was sure that it would inform Ansem of just how serious he was in this battle. His heart was now within every battle because it proved him to be needed. For his cause to be full of purpose. For him to be the hero for his kind.
Landing down with a soft placement, Genesis stood back up quickly to see his opponent already in motion for another attack. His eyes were no longer focused on the motion of Ansem but instead his protector attached to his back. The Guardian was his opponent, not this fraudulent user of darkness. As the fist came, Genesis shifted to the left side remembering the power the Guardian had before. His wing allowed him to move just as fluent as Ansem could, if not better with his extra ability to fly. Keeping close watch with his green eyes, he noticed the adjustment Ansem made upon the battlefield to come in for another attack. An attack he wouldn't land so easily.
Leaving only a trail of loose feathers behind, Genesis moved quickly back to get out of range of the attack. With his left hand glowing back, Genesis waved it down as the Guardian came in for his 'Submit' attack. A triangular seal appeared before Genesis as he nothing to fear due to their distance. Black orbs formed at the end points of the seal. With another push towards Ansem, the orbs flew towards Ansem at a moderate speed (Dark Energy). All he needed was time.
Again diverting the focus from him, Genesis waved his arm across his rapier, watching as the pink colored sword illuminated with a bright orange glow. With a calm breath, Genesis charged again taking longer than he wanted to land his attack. However, he was prepared. Leading his lunge with his left arm forward, Genesis charged his Firaga spell to not waste his effort. Once ready he pushed the Firaga spell forward and continued forward turning back to slash upon the Heartless when he was close enough. Ansem watched as his opponent landed on the ground again and took his focus off of him and focused on the guardian instead. It was amusing that the young man thought that the guardian alone was trouble. It was really too bad. He'd like to correct the young man on the assumption, but Ansem felt he had little time to do so. Refocusing on the battle, he saw that his opponent easily dodged the power swipe using his wings for speed. The young man continued to move back using his speed to dodge the submit attack as he left behind a trail of black feathers. Agitating...
In any case, Ansem did not have the time to get too agitated before he had to dodge an incoming attack of black orbs the young man had thrown at him. As he dodged around the black orbs, he had to make another quick dodge to avoid the man's Firaga attack. The heat of the attack a little to close for comfort. As he was trying to regain focus from the first two attacks, Ansem spotted the man coming at him with a sword attack. Unlike before, he didn't have enough time to dodge this one fully. As he backed away, he felt a stinging sensation in his side as the sharp blade made a small cut in his left side.
Ansem glared at his opponent agitated and not hiding it this time. As if to respond to this agitation, the guardian moved to the left side Ansem and used another Swipe attack unexpectedly. Being this close to Ansem would make the blow a bit harder to dodge, but he didn't put it pass his speedy foe to pull off such a dodge.
Using the swipe as a distraction, Ansem backed away from his opponent and pulled dark energy into himself. Then without warning, his guardian moved in front of him before Ansem moved forward surrounded by dark energy. He was moving at a speed he had not shown he could move at before, making dodging tricky, but still possible. His dash was aimed directly at his speedy foe as he attempted to hit him with his Dark Rush attack....

His blade made it's mark upon the Heartless creature just as intended. It wasn't the maximum damage he anticipated to make but it was better than nothing. After impact Genesis quickly gained his balance and shielded himself from the Swipe attack they immediately followed. There wouldn't be time to relax upon success in this match as his two enemies physically worked together. Separation appeared to be impossible but there was always a way. With the block, Genesis was still pushed back a few yards but rapier withstood a better chance with the magic fueling his blade.
But Ansem was not finished. As he took a step back and allowed his Guardian to come in front of him. With an increase in the dark energy around them, the duo charged towards Genesis with an uncanny speed. Genesis paused for a second to assure that Ansem was coming at him full force. Spreading his wings quickly, Genesis jumped into the air to dodge the full impact but was knocked back a little from the excess power from the dash. In the air, Genesis paused again for a second.
Catching eyes with his victim, Genesis smiled calmly before collecting energy in his left hand.
"You've truly but up a fight," Genesis stated moving his hand up over his head. "But this fight is over!" With that a pulse of energy shot up towards the sky. The sky swirled around and with an exuberant yell Bahamut Fury flew down to the field landing on the ground with enough strength to crack it. Releasing a fearless howl the beast starred down it's victim. Genesis remained where he was in the air letting his beast take the course of battle. Spreading it's wings the beast howled once more as the separate missiles that make up it's wings shot in the air. One after the other the six missiles shot towards Ansem as part of the Hexaflare ability. Summoning: Bahamut Fury (Can only be summoned once) Cooldowns: Hexaflare 2 post[/size]

The Guardian's swipe easily knocked Genesis back and gave Ansem enough time to charge at his opponent; however, his opponent was able to jump out of the way, yet again and take to the air. As Ansem stopped his Dark Rush, he took note that the power of the move had knocked the man back a little. He almost had him! Ansem looked up at his winged opponent still annoyed with how hard it was to strike the man... and now his target was in the air. While he could float up there after him, his attacks would be limited. He'd have to wait until he came down again, so he simply watched the man carefully. His target was looking down at him (much to Ansem's displeasure) and had begun to speak. As Ansem heard the man's words, he narrowed his eyes. Over? He highly doubted that; however, what came next was unexpected. A pulse of energy shot into the sky and a few seconds later, a large creature entered the arena. Ansem had no choice, but to move back to make room for this large beast that caused the ground to crack under its weight and strength. As it released a howl and looked down at him, Ansem began to get the feeling he was not going to like what came next. He gritted his teeth, preparing for the worse as his opponent stayed in the air, while this creature took his place as Ansem's opponent. With a second howl, the creature spread its wings and shot six powers--no, missiles!--into the air that then came towards Ansem himself. Realizing what the things were, Ansem began to move. He dodge five of the missiles, but the last one could not be dodged. In slow motion the missile came at him and the only thing Ansem could think to do was use guard ( "Come Guardian!") against the attack. When the missile struck, the guardian took most of the blow, but the force and power of it did not leave Ansem unharmed. The force was enough to force him to touch the ground in order to cause enough friction to stop him from flying out of the battlefield. Ansem came to a stop at the edge of the ring and took a moment to recover as his Guardian moved behind him once again, growling in pain and agitation. Ansem wasn't sure if he could guard against another blow like that without getting seriously hurt. He had been lucky this time, but he wasn't going to push that luck. He floated into the air once more as the dust and smoke cleared away from him, revealing a slightly cut, bruised and burned Ansem. The Guardian itself seemed unharmed, but the fury in Ansem's eyes was the signal that said the move had hurt him enough to make him want to forget about the rules of the arena and kill his target; however, a sound from outside the ring stopped Ansem from attacking any further. It was the sound that announced the end of the battle. Letting his rage settle for now, Ansem landed back on the ground dismissing his Guardian. It was time to see who had won this battle. He'd remember Genesis's power in case, they met again in the future. ((Well, this is the last post for me. I had fun, hope to battle you again some time in the future . End of battle for Ansem.))

The missiles successfully made their course upon the dark being. Ansem swiftly dodged each of the missiles but the last one called his name. Genesis couldn't hide a smile of satisfaction but was quickly disrupted when the Guardian came to the protection of Ansem again. That beast was becoming more a headache each movement it made. But it was nothing to frown about. The damage Fury would put upon Ansem would destroy his defense and rip him to shreds . It was only a matter of time.
As the smoke settled, and he took the time to demonstrate his beast power, Genesis lowered in front of Fury slowly. Black feathers fell to the ground in a slow dance upon his descent. He was full of confidence now seeing how to get through the Guardian's many attempts to stop him. Pulling his rapier up he pointed it towards Ansem. Behind him Fury calmed but was fully prepared for the next stage. Looking at Ansem he saw the pain that was inflicted on him. Scratches and burns, all from just one single missile. Within their pause the missiles stuck in the ground flew back up into the sky and returned to Bahumet Fury to retake the form of his wings.
"Dreams of the morrow hath shattered the soul. Pride is lost, Wings stripped away, the end is nigh."
Speaking in his slick, poetic style, he looked upon Ansem. Yet, his demise would have to wait, as the bell rang to end the fight. Standing up more firm, Genesis turned to his summoned beast. With a simple hand gesture, the beast jumped up and propelled itself up to the sky to return to ti's land. Another day he would finish this battle.
