500 years have passed since the great calamity. An all out war between the Arrancar and the Shinigami. In this war...no one survived. Ichigo and his friends sacrificed themselves for the sake of saving earth and, in turn, wiped out the Arrancar race at the time. Since then, more and more Hollow have been born and have slowly begun to reshape the Arrancar race. Same goes for the Shinigami. At the moment, the current Granado and the Captain Commander are working on rebuilding the armies and improving strengths so the race is not wiped out again.
