Cid turned back and continued to walk off into the desert, taking a moment to glance back over his shoulder when the Turk spoke out to him regarding the Shera. "Shut yer face Tseng and keep walkin'!" Cid said with a glare before turning back to facing the endless sand before him. It was a pretty bleak sight. Sure the sand and the cloudless blue sky reminded him of a beach back home on Gaia and the sunshine was always welcome more then rain, but this heat was getting close to unbearable. As a result, Cid sped up his walking pace in order to get further away from Agrabah quicker. If Tseng was left behind, then so be it. He'd be left in the middle of the desert to fend for himself, though the pilot was sure he'd keep up, even if wearing a black suit that would absorb the sun's heat quicker then the dragoon's attire.
After several minutes Cid eventually stopped and turned around to see that Agrabah was pretty far away by now. Even if someone saw the Shera land from this distance, Cid'll have gotten aboard and flown off even before someone had managed to run out this far to investigate. So, the pilot pulled off a small remote from his belt and hit a button upon the surface before clipping the small metal device back to his belt. The dragoon glanced at Tseng but said nothing as the sound of propeller blades whirling through the air reached his ears. A sudden explosion erupted from the cloudless blue sky overhead, as the Shera burst out of a warp bubble and proceeded to fly down towards the desert. The pilot took precautions now and reached both his hands up to take hold of his goggles, pulling them down over his eyes to avoid the sand from blowing into them. He also raised a gloved hand to his nose and mouth, covering them as well moments before a huge blast of sand shot out in every direction from the Shera's landing point.
Fortunately the sand thrown up wasn't enough to smother both the Turk and the Dragoon and instead just made a complete mess of their clothing and hair. Cid turned to Tseng and smirked at him after lowering his hand, looking smug with himself about the Shera in general. Not saying anything through he turned and walked towards the massive airship, using his Jump ability to leap up onto the lower outdoor deck. His leather boots clunked heavily upon the wooden deck and the pilot sighed happily in delight at finally being on board his baby once more. Taking a second to look around the outdoor deck, enjoying the sights and the sounds of the whirling propellers, the scruffy pilot turned and walked over to the railing, where he peered over and looked down at Tseng, waving at him. Moving off to his right, he kicked a rope ladder down from the deck so Tseng would be able to jump and climb up himself. "Make sure ya pull the ladder up when yer get up here, alright?!" Cid shouted down, getting his voice loud enough to be heard over the Shera's engines and propellers.
After hanging around long enough to see Tseng begin his climb up the ladder, the dragoon vanished through the only door leaving the outdoor deck and proceeded up a staircase to the main bridge. After pressing a few buttons and pulling a couple of levers, the AVALANCHE member took hold of the helm and waited for the Turk to catch up before pointing over to where the ammunition was kept for Barret to reload his gun-arm. Seconds after that, the Shera lurched forwards before rocketing up into the sky and vanishing into nothingness with the help of the installed Gummi Block.
