Naminé’s portal lead her out on a platform that had a stone archway that framed a metal built castle with strange poles and objects coming out of its walls. She looked over the edge of the platform and saw that it was a long way down to the waters below. The sound of the waterfalls that surrounded where the memory witch stood filled her ears. It seemed like a peaceful place but the world’s heart seemed to be dark. Darkness must have had a hold of this world. This didn’t worry the young girl however. She didn’t have a heart so most people wouldn’t be able to tell if she was on the side of light or the side of darkness. If all else failed she could simple turn into someone else from whatever side encountered her and sneak away if she had to. She had the advantage of reading people’s hearts to tell what side they were from but since she was a Nobody it was impossible for people to read her. They would simply have to take her word for it.
Naminé stepped through the arch and waited for another platform to come down from the castle. She had recalled how this placed worked form Sora’s Memories. The elevator came down and the girl in white got on board. In a few sort moments she was at the entrance to the castle. She looked up at it with her shimmering blue eyes. It was an overwhelming sight. Things on the castle were glowing and moving, steam came from pipes, and platforms appeared and disappeared from sight. All of that plus the sheer mass of the building was extraordinary. Her eyes finally fell on the double doors. She walked over and grabbed the handle. “Please be open. Please be open.” She prayed out loud. She really didn’t want to take the alternatives ways into the massive structure. After all she was in a bit of a hurry. She pulled on the handle and to her relief the doors came open.
Naminé walked into the entrance room; their where two giant stair case leading up to another door and in between the stairs there was a fountain. The room was round in shape and there was also a hallway that circled the entire perimeter of the room. “Let me think now, was it that door that leads to the Library or is there another door around here somewhere?” The memory witch said as she walked to the center of the room and turned around a full 360 to get her barring of the place. Her goal was to find the Library so she could do some research for Vivi. She had promised him that she would try to find out more about Nobodies and Hearts as she could. She knew that she was a Nobody but not even she fully understood what that meant. Nobodies weren’t suppose to have hearts and there for have no emotions but for some reason her and Roxas seem to have broken that rule and understanding. She hoped that the information that she found would help Vivi get his friend back and at the same time maybe even give herself an understanding of who or what she truly was and was capable of.
The Library in Hollow Bastion seemed to be the most plausible place to hold the information that Naminé required. It was the biggest library in all of the worlds that the memory witch knew of. She had original thought of the Beast’s library but she highly doubted that he had anything on the nature of Heartless, Hearts, Nobodies, and Kingdom Hearts. So where else would be better to check the homeland of Ansem the Wise. She had thought about just going after the man’s research but she figured that if Darkness had a hold of it then it would be well guarded and they would never hand it over to a Nobody such as herself, and if light had it then it would be most likely be in the care of Leon and his crew and they would really never let her see it. So her best possible option was to hope that some of the research ended up here. So with that in mind and a determined look on her face she started up the stairs secretly hoping that she was going the right way.
(OOC: If you guys want to add some music to this battle then feel free =^_^=)

Mordred stared at the machine that was used to open the Door to Darkness so many years ago. How long had he studied it? Was it mere hours or had he been here for days? Time seemed to have past him like a stream. Oh well. He needed this machine to work if he was going to mass-produce a means to secure Hearts. From what he could tell, it seemed to be in working condition, but it was missing its power source, that being something that was put into eight tanks in the room behind him. But what could they have been? Hearts? Possible, but not any regular Heart would suffice. If that was the case, this machine would still be running. No, special Hearts would be needed. Maybe this castle's library held the answers he sought. As a Corridor of Darkness opened behind him, he took one last look at the machine before going into the Corridor and closing it behind him.
Later...
As Namine was about to enter the library, her presence was not unnoticed. Mordred was looking towards the door from the upper part of the library, open books floating in front of him. As Mordred sensed the presence, the books closed with a snap and fell to the ground. "Another Nobody. Interesting..." Mordred then climbed up the railing and... down the wall, clearly flouting both gravity and good sense in not taking the stairs.
"What, pray tell, is a lone Nobody doing here, I wonder?" Mordred asked as he righted himself on proper ground. "Are you perhaps trying desperately to search for a purpose to your supposed existence as I have?" Mordred then took his hood off, adjusting his glasses. "Unfortunately, it will have to leave, I suppose. He had no need for an errant Nobody, after all. No Heart, No use.
Mordred opened the library doors from across the room using his Kinetic Energy and walked to the top of the staircase, looking down at the young female Nobody through scarlet, emotionless eyes. He Analyzed her, staring into her very being, since she lacked a Heart. "Namine... a memory witch... Interesting." Mordred uttered. "I am going to have to ask that you leave, Namine. I feel a great catastrophe will take place and neither one of us can be here. I came here to stop it, but I was too late. However, maybe I can salvage something..." Mordred then pretended to look at the library, as if there was something he needed. He preferred not to pretend to have emotions, but if it threw her off the right track... "It matters not, I suppose. You must leave, Namine, before the catastrophe occurs."

It has been a long time, weeks perhaps, but the search was finally over. There was one man who needed to be tracked down and stopped for his crimes... no, scratch that. It wasn't a 'man'... it was a monster. A Nobody by the name of 'Mordred' had slaughtered the civilians of Niblehiem, employees working for Shin-Ra to cover up the catastrophe that Sephiroth unleashed upon that small village. The fact that they were Shin-Ra employees was unknown to everyone bar the company itself, but regardless, they were still just ordinary humans living ordinary-ish lives. Whether or not the employees knew of what they were doing, would no longer be known, but there was one man out there who was going to make the murderer pay for his crimes, not matter how much time or what risks had to be taken to achieve this. This 'Mordred' wasn't going to kill anyone else.
Being a Nobody, he had little to no aura to trace. Perhaps it was just sheer luck that he arrived on Hollow Bastion at this time? Maybe it was because he'd met someone else at this location at an earlier date and could 'feel' them over the murderer? That was the advantage these 'nobodies' had over him... he was alive, he was classed as a 'Somebody' and thus he had his heart. They could feel him coming, but the one with the Heart would have a much harder time sensing those without one. Then again, the Crimson SOLDIER was hardly an ordinary human. No, he was an exception and his ability to track the aura that peoples hearts gave off was steadily getting better over time. Nobodies were a different matter, but they were still detectable. Not at as great a range as a human or a Somebody, but they were detectable. As such, his journey to hunt down this 'Mordred' had led him to Hollow Bastion, perhaps a little sidetracking to the Library wouldn't hurt... he was keen to find new information and most his other visits to the Hollow Bastion Library had been interrupted.
Kairi, a Princess of Heart, Rude, a Turk of Shin-Ra and 'Artemis', a opponent in the previous Tournament and Keybarer... he'd met them here. Apart from the Turk, the other two were fascinating people, both whom he'd eagerly like to meet again. As the LOVELESS quoter made his way towards the main doors of the Hollow Bastion castle, the SOLDIER noticed that the doors were already ajar slightly. Perhaps someone had opened one of the doors just enough so they could slip through and there wasn't enough of a swing for the door to take to be able to close on it's own? Curious... did that mean someone else was already here? A raise of his eyebrow and a quick sweep of his senses didn't reveal anyone nearby, no one with a heart at least anyway. Pressing onwards, the SOLDIER made his way through the large, main doors and headed inside slowly, careful not to make too much noise in case there was someone inside and he alerted them to his presence. Speaking of presence... if there was a Nobody here, they'd certainly be able to locate him quicker then he could find them. Perhaps there was no need to sneak about then?
The trickling of water reached the SOLDER's ears when he remembered where he was. The water belong to a decorative fountain up ahead, encircled by two sets of stairs leading up either side to a second floor. The entrance to the Library was up there as well as another route that lead to the chapel. There was also an entrance to the Library on the same floor the fountain was on, but the SOLDIER 1st Class had found something else of interest. As he neared the main hall, the trickling of water growing louder, the LOVELESS fanatic laid his eyes upon the figure of a young woman in a figure fitting white dress. Blonde hair donned her head and she appeared to be looking at her surroundings before making her way up one of the staircases. Genesis narrowed his eyes as he recognized the young woman to be that of Naminé, one of his opponents in the most recent Tournament at the Coliseum. What on earth was she doing out here all on her own? Sure, the SOLDIER had first hand experience that she could defend herself in battle... but her skills were not that amazing... if someone of Genesis' strength discovered her... they would not hold back at all.
"Naminé!!" The young girls name echoed about the hallway as the Crimson SOLDIER spoke it, making his way out into the center of the room, just before the fountain. His bright blue eyes looked up at the small girl making her way up one of the staircases and the concern within his eyes instantly turned to that of disgust. There was a great power approaching this world, one of the very darkest and evil the SOLDIER had ever sensed before, perhaps more so then the aura that lingered about his old friend, Sephiroth. Genesis didn't know who it belonged to, but he wasn't too keen on finding out. If it were just him, he'd not be so bothered, but seeing as Naminé was present, she might become a target and Genesis didn't want to see any more innocents hurt or killed in his presence. The man... no, the 'monster' that Genesis currently glared at, Mordred, was one such abomination to go about and cause needless suffering. He would have drawn his Rapier and jumped in to attack without hesitation... but again, that dark presence approaching as well as Naminé's safety held him back. Curse his luck... "Naminé, come down here, quickly." Genesis spoke, his tone demanding her cooperation as his eyes remained locked onto Mordred. "This monster is the least of our concern. Quickly... we need to get out of here." He spoke up, eyes not moving off the murderer at the top of the stairs.
---------- Ooc -- As for battle music, try this track, which I am thinking might make a good alternative boss theme for Genesis =D

Through the hole in the ceiling of a room within the castle dropped the flamboyantly colored jester. His purple lipstick curled into a sinister smile as his gaze wandered around the damp room. There had recently been a battle here, one where there had been a destructive using powerful water magic. It occurred to Kefka that water magic on this level was almost uniquely within the realm of Espers, a thought that made his shiver with glee.
“Hohohohohoho, what deliciously destructive POWER!! The creature that made this, oh it must have some fantastically delightful magicite for me to use in my ascension back to the true godhood I enjoyed before that meddling Chaos got in the way.” Kefka said aloud, flailing his arms about as he walked in a circle around the room. He then suddenly stopped, sensing the other beings that were gathering elsewhere in the castle. Leaning backwards to hover upside down in the air Kefka tapped his lips with a finger while he began to think aloud. “What do we have here, Eden’s disciple’s gathering quite a crowd I see. I’m sure that Mr. No Name’s already started the party, how very rude! He should know better than to throw one without me!!” Spinning right-side up, Kefka dropped to the round and stomped his feet.
“One of them feels similar to Mama’s boy, speaking of which… It’s a shame he couldn’t show. No worries though, I’ve got the perfect way for him to show himself without even coming at all!” With another laugh the mad mage skipped out of the room into the hallway, making his way down through the twist and turns of the castle back towards its entrance. As the sound of trickling water grew louder, so did the voices of those already near the fountains. He darted to the wall, planting his back against it before he tiptoed closer and closer to them until he was at the edge of the hallway. He sneakily peeked his head out to see what was going on, spotting what appeared to be a defenseless girl and… Oh hello! Though his attire his red, the man’s outfit was drastically reminiscent of Sephioth’s for some reason… His energy seemed somewhat dark as well, was he the man Sephiroth had gone to recruit? It didn’t matter, he seemed to care for the girl and that just wouldn’t do at all. No no no no no, he had to be dealt with. Mordred was peering down at them from the library, which made the situation all the sweeter, he wouldn’t get in the way! Kefka tiptoed back down the hallway out of site, wiggling his fingers before he thrust his arms forward and opened a portal from the void. From the darkness stepped out a cyan crystal manikin, an impossibly long sword in its hand. Its yellow eyes set on the jester, before glaring towards where the others were.
“Yes, YES!! My beautiful Sephiroth manikin, do your worst for me! Destroy them, won’t you? Show them what the real Sephiroth would do!” Kefka ordered, and with a grunt the manikin darted towards the man hall. Without warning it descended upon Genesis, swinging its crystal Masamune downwards upon the One Winged Angel with all the strength he’d remember from the silver haired man himself. Seven more slashes of Octaslash: upwards from the left, across from the right, downwards from the left, back upwards from the right then straight down from above into a flip to slash across from the left then right. As it stopped it smirked, and in its distorted voice it spoke.
“Good to see you… Genesis…”
From the distance Kefka watched and just grinned, happy with how the battle was beginning. He was far enough away where he wouldn’t necessarily draw attention from the combatants, and could remain out of range raining magic upon them while the manikin was in their face drawing their attention away from the caster.
Genesis was correct to fear what was to come.
------------------------------ Abilities Used:
Kefka's Little Helper: Once Per Thread, lasts six posts.
Manikins possess 10 HP a piece. HP taken away from attacks is based on the cooldown of the attack used (for example: Kefka's Ultima has a two post cooldown and would do 2HP of damage to a mankin. Kefka's Forsaken has a four post cooldown, and would do 4HP of damage). If 10HP is removed before the six posts they last ends, then they are dismissed early.
Octaslash: Four Post Cooldown

Fang had appeared in another part of the strange castle like structure via a Corridor of Darkness. The castle’s more serious and dark feel was an almost pleasant change from the insanity that she had just come from. At least this place made sense and didn’t seem to be changing to this or that at will. A welcome changed indeed. While the woman had been pleased at first with her new surroundings, the place soon became an annoyance to the woman as she began to travel through it. The huge and confusing layout of the place made it hard to figure out which way she was suppose to go to get out. On top of this, that dark feeling from before was beginning to make her feel sick.
Unlike others used to sensing auras, this whole deal was new to Fang; however, the sick feeling did not stop her from sensing the danger around this place. Something big was brewing, but what it was or where, the woman could not tell. Doing her best to use good judgment in the large castle, Fang went through a series of rooms and halls and even was outside at one point before she managed to find the door that led out into the large room where the trouble was growing. Exiting the door, Fang came out at the top of the large double staircase. Going to the railing, she looked down at the floor below only to see a man in a crimson coat being attacked by some crystallized being with a sword. She could tell the strange being was trouble, but whether or not the man in red was or was not was another matter entirely. In any case, the pair seemed to be occupying each other, so the woman did nothing to draw attention to herself as her eyes shifted from the fight to the fountain and then to the girl in white on the stairs. It was odd seeing a child in the middle of a battlefield, but then again she wasn’t about to underestimate her.
Having been teamed up with Hope in the past proved that kids were just as capable of fighting as an adult was. Still, it was troublesome considering what was happening by the fountain…and if she was not mistaken there was another hidden somewhere in the room. She couldn’t really tell, but a violent aura was coming from somewhere. Anyway, she could not do anything to said person unless it showed itself, so she let her eyes move from the girl to the last person in the room. He was a strange man that seemed to be simply watching the situation. While he didn’t seem to be threatening anyone, there was something off about the guy. Whether it was curiosity or that pull that told her he was dangerous that drew her towards him was anyone’s guess. What was known was that the woman was heading towards the man cautiously.
When she was close enough, she spoke.
“Are you a judge of the battle below or what?” she asked with sarcasm clearly not liking the guy and his idleness in this otherwise chaotic situation. It didn’t help that the girl’s presence made her want to get the guy away from her…..

The castle’s former peace was slowly fading away as more potential combatants appeared from the woodwork of the fortress. For now, the tension was almost palpable, and there would be no doubt that a full-on battle would commence. One man, however, donned in the armor forged from the fires of battle, his hand carrying the weapon he made likewise, had a vested desire to see nothing but conflict commence. He walked through the halls, his weapon trailing behind him and leaving a massive groove in the floor from where it was pulled, marching on to where he could feel the battle coming.
The armored man had disappeared from the battle for a time. He had much work to do in the meantime, much consideration, but never would he abandon this war of his and the darkness’ making. It was not in his blood to leave such a conflict behind, particularly the one he was tied to from the moment of his conception.
However, if this was nothing more but a minor skirmish, perhaps he would have simply let the battle go, or at least of ended it quickly. Not from any sort of ethical standpoint, but simply because the warrior wasn’t sure if it was worth his time. After all, he enjoyed his murder as much as the next of his kin and frequently would destroy if bored enough, but where was the sportsmanship, no, the joy in that, to just randomly slay? No, the only way anyone could truly feel alive was when they clashed weapons with another who could be an actual credible threat. And that is why he was drawn here.
The armored demon finally found a door ajar and could see through its cracks that already a conflict had begun. Five he could see and he could sense another, but he could see that one of the combatants was nothing more than a Manikin of the fallen hero. Already, he could assume the unknown one from the War between the Gods was here, and he assumed it originated from the violent aura. He felt assured that he knew who the aura belonged to, but that was not a pressing concern. Knowing him, he would have to reveal himself if he was truly here.
But, oddly enough, two of the aura’s seemed empty, particularly from the man overlooking the battle donned in black and the tiny girl clad in white. They lacked any warmth of a heart in their vessels. Were they like the grey vermin he had seen before in his travels, nothing more but empty shells? Now, that would be a disappointing turn. If he was lucky then they were both of a higher pedigree then their kin and provide a true challenge. The demon was sincerely doubtful, but he and he alone would determine their worth. At the very least, one of them might prove a useful soldier.
Ah, but the last two. They were interesting. One wore red, and he was the one the Manikin of Sephiroth had desired to do battle with. Curiously enough, the man seemed to be a counterpart to the fallen here; the coat, the look, the power he emanated, all indicated a relation of some sort. He would be a useful ally if need be and an even better foe. Perhaps if he slayed the Manikin, he would be the armored man’s next battle. That is, if the armored man wasn’t overestimating his abilities.
But finally, there was another. She was a woman with a shock of black hair in azure clothing, and currently she was attempting to banter with the empty vessel in black. Now, something about her seemed familiar, much like how the man in red seemed similar to the silver-haired swordsman; like she too was similar in some regard to a warrior he had once crossed blades with. Ah, but the armored man truly didn’t care. The idea was nothing more than a niggling thought in the back of his head that would soon fade when the battle began.
Slowly, the door was destroyed, smashed into nothing by a massive sword stoke, and where the entrance used to be, the giant man stood tall, his grip on his mighty blade firm. He poised himself for battle, his body crouched and his mighty blade ready to strike.
"A battle I see, and I am not already a part of it? A shame. I've had nothing to battle but guards, and they provide little in terms of fight. Warriors of Light provide much more." He spoke, his baritone voice ringing out from his massive armor. His eyes fell on the Manikin that challenged the red-robed man, but then back to the Nobodies and the blue-clothed woman.
"You would seem a worthy foe, yet are you prepared?" He asked, Few would be brazen to admit they had come for a battle, yet this man was certainly one of the few. The aggression in his voice making it clear that he was not here for any sort of peace in mind, and the violent aura he also emanated made it clear he was not going to leave quietly.
His eye fell on the woman carrying the halberd-like weapon, and swiftly he took a swing of his sword, which would seem foolish considering the distance between them. However, the blade then launched from the handle toward the one in blue through a technique called Chain Cast. It was an easy move to make, and hopefully if she or whoever else stood up to fight survived this slash, they would make worthy opponents.
Garland only hoped.
___
Chain Cast: Garland activates the whip function of his blade and lashes it at a foe or foes in his way. The first post is the actual attack, the next is the reattaching the blade proper. This attack has a cooldown of two posts.

As Naminé walked up the stairs she heard someone talking. The young Nobody jumped as a thud came from above her. She looked up to see someone defining gravity as the man in the black hood climbed down towards her. At first her eyes went wide because she had thought that he was an organization member. It became clear that theory wasn’t relevant because this person didn’t know who she was at first sight. The girl in white just watched the guy as she took a sigh of relief that he wasn’t a member of the 13 members that once held her prisoner, but she could sense no heart so he was definitely still a Nobody. Naminé nodded in silence as the hooded figure guessed what she was doing there. It wasn’t shock that he knew, after all he too was a Nobody, and it was in the nature of a Nobody to explore the inner works of heart and wondering why they were here in the world in the first place. A Nobody exists to find meaning in there none existing lives It is known that a Nobody desires a heart of their own…come to think of it….if a Nobody desires a heart and desire is an emotion then how could it be said that a Nobody can’t feel? Does emotion and feelings truly come from the heart of a person or is there more to it? What makes a heart of Darkness and what makes a heart of light? More importantly who decides what side is right? Every time the young girl thinks she is about find some answers; more and more questions emerge instead. Naminé was determined now more than ever to explore the Library and gain some knowledge. Naminé’s right foot stood one step and her left foot rested on the step above her right. Her hand grasped the railing of the stair case as the man took his hood off. She didn’t know why but she held her breath. The man had glasses and behind the spectacles laid intense scarlet eyes. His blond was mess from his hood and he had muscles to match Marluxia’s. He was telling of some kind of event that was about to take place and that she should leave. The Memory Witch looked at the man her blue eyes and his scarlet met. She knew this man’s face from somewhere but she couldn’t recall where. If he were just a regular person then she could just look into his heart and mind. But he wasn’t normal; he had a mind but the Witches mind reading powers could only work on those with hearts. “Oh. Well that is interesting.“ She said as she began to walk up the stairs. “But I think will be all right. I can manage on my own.” She smiled at the man. The man walked up the stairs and the young girl followed but jumped as the doors were blasted open by some invisible force. The man then looked at her and she felt her skin crawl. She surveyed him as well. “His face; where have a seen it before?” Naminé thought to herself. She stopped dead in her tracks as the man said her name. She looked at him once again. “How did you know my name?” He shouldn’t have been able to see anything in her. So how was he able to know her name? The man seemed to be concerned with something in the library. Naminé gathered that whatever was about to happen was going to threaten something important to the man. “Well maybe I can help you.” She said brightly but the words seemed to be leaving a bad taste in her mouth. She was shaking the overwhelming urge to dislike this man when she heard a voice call her name yet again. This time the voice sounded familiar….but there is no way that it could be him. The memory witch turned to see a man in Crimson. It was her opponent form he tournament. “G-Gen-Genesis!?” She sputtered in shock. At first the man held a look of concern for the girl. It wasn’t a look like he was scared of her or he didn’t want to see her; it was more like he was worried about her. It was strange to think that someone was actually concerned for her well being. The man held out his hand to the young girl and demanded that she go with him to get out of hollow Bastion. Genesis seemed to be glaring at the Nobody behind her. He called the other man a monster and said that he was the least of their worries. It seemed that Genesis wanted to stand and fight but something was holding him back. The girl tiled her head and looked bewildered. She looked at the man in red then at the man in black then back to the man in red. “What…?” She started but then stopped herself as she looked at expression on Genesis’s face. She didn’t understand the urgency but still felt like she should compile with what Genesis was telling her to do. She started hastily down the stairs and reached her hand out for his. Everything from that point on happened so fast. A rush of another heart hiding somewhere in the building caught Naminé’s attention. It was a heart of darkness or at least what the majority would consider as darkness. Was that the thing that the man in the black coat was protecting? The memory witch once again ran for Genesis but was cut off by some kind of crystallized man. He knocked her over as he rushed the Crimson man. The young girl rolled on the floor to get out of range of the two people fighting…well one person and one thing fighting. She got up to see another woman in blue had arrived and was now talking to the man in black. A bombing voice came from the door that lead outside and a chain pasted right by the memory witch’s head and grabbed the girl in blue. It was pure Chaos. Naminé started to ran back up stairs to the man with the hood. “Help them please…!” She begged him. His scarlet eyes burned deep into her’s. Something told the female Nobody that this man wasn’t about to help them and she could sense that the other thing that was hiding was close by. She stood on the steps watching the horror of the fight fold out in front of her. She just wanted to collapse right there. Genesis was the stronger of them and she had no idea the power that the other women held…..the young girl in white just felt so helpless. Tears started to flow down her check and she bowed her head in defeat. As Naminé cried a voice came into her head, it was the voice of a little mage. "If my weak little heart can stop and be reborn... Then surely Zidane's strong and courageous heart can be saved..." “He was so brave.” The girl thought. “He is out there trying his best to save the people he cares about and he too was made, his heart isn’t what someone would call real, and yet he is the realest thing I know.” Her eyes then shot open. She sharply turned around to the man in the black. “Mordred!” She said as it finally occurred to her where she seen his face. If Vivi and his friend didn’t stand a chance against this guy then what hope did a heartless little nobody girl haves? Naminé started to back away from the guy in black but the grunts and battle cries of her champions stopped her. Her own words to the Mage Vivi came flooding back to her. “Your heart is far from weak. Promise me you'll always remember: You're braver than you believe, and stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. To the world you may be just one person, but to one person you may be the world. We WILL save your friend.” She knew that she didn’t have a heart but she definitely had guts and spirit and that was all she may need; After all Vivi was fighting on pure nerve so she could fight with what she has instead of dwelling on what she didn’t. She wasn’t about to let the people she cared for fall under such a monster. A strange and familiar tingle came to her hand. She smiled. Naminé summoned her sketchbook and flipped to the page where a woman was drawn upon. She jumped from the stairs via over the railing. When she landed on the ground her blond hair turned raven and her white dress lengthen into a long black skirt with a leather black corset to cover her chest. A black ribbon choker accented her neck. Her ocean blue eyes turned dark and cold. Her body went from teenaged to a grown up women’s body. A mist of darkness swirled around the sketchbook and changed it into a whip. She wore a smirk on her blooded red lips. The memory witch turned into the female horseman, the human heartless that she once fought against, Maurelle. * “’I may look pretty, but you have no idea what I am capable of..."’* She said as one of her dark eyebrows raised and she snapped her fingers summoning 4 Dusks that surrender her to shield her from any oncoming attacks. “Well if we are going to play we might as well have everyone on equal ground.” she said to the group at large. “So let us end this game of hide and seek and exchange it for something more entertaining shall we.” A ball of light formed in her ivory hand. She smirked and then used her Energy beam, shotting it at the wall where the other heart that was hiding was detected. “Come out and play with us kind sir.” The wall blew up in a dazzling display of fire. And the transformed girl pivoted on her heels and turned the still shooting beam on to the Manikin. Unfortunately there was no safe way to get to the armored man without accidently hitting Genesis and other girl. The beam subsided and the girl need to catch her breath. The amount of energy it took to conjure the horseman’s beam was incredible. She then whipped her whip at her Dusks and they went after their targets. One went after the man in armor, one after the once hidden thing, and one after whatever was left of the crystal imposter. The last Dusk stayed by her side as she turned her attention to Mordred. There was no point in sending the Dusk after another Nobody….at least not yet anyway. Naminé/Maurelle ran up the steps after Mordred aiming her whip for his head. “This is for Vivi and Zidane!” she yelled as her whip made its way through the air. {OCC:

Oh, the crowd was gathering, wasn't it?
The first to arrive was a familiar presence that Mordred recognized and matched from the Shinra Mansion on Gaia. The man seemed to be rather angry with the Nobody as he glared at him. Mordred cocked his head and then remembered why the man glared at him so. "Genesis Rhapsodos, correct? Did you enjoy your fight with Sephiroth? You should. Since you let eight people die, I would think there would be little happiness to be gained from that obsession of yours." Then Genesis called Mordred a monster, which only illicited a quirk of the right eyebrow from Mordred. "'A monster', you say? Hmm... I suppose I can live with that definition. I'm certainly not human, after all. Although, that begs the question. What are you, Genesis? Are you a Hero of the Goddess? Or a deluded monster of a false one, just like Sephiroth?"
The next arrival was another familiar presence, this one from Twilight Town. He could almost taste the insanity from where he was. "Tch... I guess it is appropriate that the jester be the one to conduct the opening act." And Mordred was not disappointed as Kefka created some sort of Crystalline Golem in the shape of Sephiroth to attack Genesis. Talk about speaking of the devil. Naturally, Mordred took advantage of the situation."Ah yes, your obsession once again comes to light, Genesis. Will you protect the girl without a Heart or will even a fake of your rival do to ignite your obsession. Such a diseased, damaged Heart."
The next person to arrive was a woman and one Mordred didn't recognize. Unfortunately, his Analysis took a bit to recharge, so he couldn't use it quite yet. Still something struck him as familiar about the woman. When she spoke, Mordred's indifferent face and piercing scarlet gaze turned to the woman. "Judging, you say? Hmm... yes, I suppose one could construe it that way. Though, I do not judge the fight so much as the Hearts or, in this case, Heart involved." Yet another presence made itself known, this one of Darkness. Mordred looked over his shoulder to spy a man in armor with a boisterous voice. He desired a "worthy foe", but Mordred saw through that. Whoever this was, he desired conflict and nothing more. He was practically addicted to it. Mordred then heard his name called and he turned his head to face the young girl again.
"Indeed, that is me. I am accustomed to me knowing others, though. Although, given the law of probability, I suppose this would have had to occur." He then watched, with his usual indifference, as Namine changed into a completely unfamiliar woman. Mordred then sighed, as if he was disappointed. After Namine aimed an Energy Beam at what Mordred could only suppose was where Kefka was, the woman dashed at Mordred and attacked. Darkness clashed against steal as Reaper of Light loyally defended Mordred. The Nobody adjusted his glasses as he stared at Namine.
"Oh... you know Vivi Orunitia and Zidane Tribal? I guess that's how you know me, in which case, you must know me from Vivi. So he is still alive then. I was correct." Mordred then cocked his head at Namine. "But why would a Nobody like you care for them? You are incapable of any sort of emotion and have no Heart to speak of. But... I suppose you are just another pathetic Nobody playing pretend, even going so far as to pretend you are someone else to further your delusion of having emotions. If I could, I'd pity you."
Mordred then sensed something and looked at the woman from before. He then jumped and front-flipped over Namine, the chained weapon Garland shot at the woman sailling right below him. He landed behind the transfigured Nobody and immediately fired off a combo, seeming to dance about as Reaper of Light sped around him, furiously slicing at Namine and anyone foolish enough to stay nearby Mordred. "Such an effort I must expend on you. You have no Heart, hence you are no use to me. I would rather just ignore you and go about my research, but you force my hand in this matter. And for such trivial delusions, as well. What a waste of my time."

((OOC Note))My friends, I am going on holiday from the 22nd of January up till the 29th of January. I have a massive favour to ask of you all if you wish to keep Genesis within the raid. If you all could wait a couple days between posting it should give me enough time to come back from my holiday and be able to keep posting with you lot. I'll be back on the 29th of January. Thanks folks! <3)) If there was any definition to the word 'chaos', this situation would surely represent that. Everything seemed to have happened so quickly that to be honest, it nearly took the Crimson SOLDIER by surprise. All he was concerned about at the moment was the safely of the female Nobody. There were much greater dangers approaching this location and while Genesis himself was close to the top of the pile in terms of strength and experience, he at least knew restraint. Such as when he fought Naminé within the Tournament, he'd never use all of his strength and attack mercilessly. That just wasn't who he was anymore. The same thing could not be said for the many new presences that had arrived on the scene, though seeing as they all arrived in the near same instant, the SOLDIER 1st Class didn't have time to stop and check each and every one that appeared. Keeping his eyes locked onto Mordred, only glancing towards Naminé when he heard her start to make her way down the steps, the SOLDIER simply let a small laugh escape his lips at the words spoken by the name Nobody.
"I allowed no one to die, but simply a coward like you took advantage of other present chaos. You'd never stand up to my fury in combat, which is why you slipped away like a scared, beaten dog to extract your revenge on defenseless innocents. If not for Sephiroth's betrayal, even Zack alone would have finished you off!" Genesis retorted, keeping his hand outstretched for Naminé as she drew closer to him. That massive dark presence seemed to have arrived sooner then expected though and before he could reach out to Naminé and take her safely away from this mess, a flash of cyan caught the SOLDIER's attention, forcing him to back step and leap away, jumping backwards up onto the stone railing that surrounded the edge of the second floor of this large room. As his coat whirled about him, matching his movements, the crimson leather slapped against the cold stone railing the SOLDIER now crouched upon. Casting his attention onto the cyan coloured figure below, he simply raised an eyebrow as it seemed to resemble his old friend, Sephiroth. What was this?
Peering up past Naminé and Mordred, Genesis' bright blue eyes locked onto the double doors past both the Nobodies, sensing a presence apparently hiding in that direction, this presence indeed being that one of Darkness he felt approaching. The strange cyan figure below didn't seem to resonate an aura of any kind... almost as if it were a simple puppet being controlled by it's puppeteer. Mordred hadn't moved and Naminé was unable to do this as far as Genesis knew... so the only other possible answer was whoever was hiding from the main hall. With the advantage of height in his hands, Genesis was able to take note of the second female making her presence known, approaching Mordred from up top the stairs Naminé was once heading. Unlike everyone else here, she seemed the 'Lightest' by far so hopefully, she'd come to ally with Genesis and Naminé to fight back against these people. The Crimson SOLDIER simply shook his head though... he'd never be able to forgive himself if he entered this battle and was unable to protect both the girls from harm. He closed his eyes closely, taking a couple seconds to reopen them as he realized now why Cloud and Angeal both fought so fiercely for the Light. This Mordred... the hiding presence supposedly controlling the cyan puppet and now a third darkness approaching the area... They were just evil, wanting nothing more then to see everything destroyed. Why? Why did they want that? What was to be gained from nothingness? To think that Genesis himself was once like this...?
The final warrior to show up was a massive man in a suit of armour, covering him from head to toe. At least with that thing weighing him down, anyone would hear him approaching and the possibility of him being able to move quickly in such attire? Though the question arose that even if he couldn't move fast, it would take some heavy attacks to breech such armour. Peering into this tanks eyes as he watched him, Genesis frowned in reply. More so that he knew he'd be unable to fight off all three, possibly four if the hidden one showed himself, to protect the women from harm. Expecting some sort of comment from the male Nobody, Genesis decided to block his ears of all voices that weren't feminine. The only answer was going to be to fight and take out each of these opponents one at a time, entrusting the women to be able to handle themselves for a while.
Standing up on the stone railing, Genesis summoned his Rapier to hand with a stream of flame, pulling the weapon out of the swirling fire that vanished as the long sword was revealed. Holding the weapon upright, placing the hilt to his forehead, Genesis focused himself and prepared himself for combat, pushing aside all worried for the women and concentrating solely on defeating the enemy. This was probably how Cloud felt when Genesis came to take The Blue Planet for the Darkness... such a horrible situation to be in. He'd have to seek out the ex-SOLDIER and apologies to him at a later date. Upon lowering the Rapier to his side, Genesis' bright blue eyes caught sight of a new warrior in the room. Another woman, clad in black and carrying a whip. Naminé seemed to have vanished and Genesis smirked knowing exactly what had happened. Thus he paid it no more mind and looked down upon the cyan puppet on the floor below, staring at him before beckoning him up to fight on the second floor, away from the others to avoid damaging them accidentally.
"A clone of my old friend... I doubt you even have half Sephiroth's strength, puppet. Come up here and I'll tear you limb from limb!" Genesis then jumped backwards off the stone railing and onto the second floor itself, backpedaling till he were near the circular walls surrounding this room. Here he paused and held his left arm out before him, clutching his fingers about an imaginary ball as he charged up a spell from his arsenal. A fiery orange glow surrounded his whole hand, flashing warmly with brilliant flame as the SOLDIER readied Flash
[/b]. The moment the cyan figure appeared, Genesis would swing his arm before him furiously, dragging it back across his body a second time to blast out ten Flashes[/b] per swing of his arm, unleashing a full twenty into the face of the crystal Sephiroth the moment he decided to show up on the second floor. [/blockquote] -------------------- -=Cooldowns=- Flash[/b] - 1 Post. --- Genesis blasts out soccer ball sized fireballs that have excellent tracking abilities, capable of turning a whole 180 degrees to come back and hit a missed enemy that explode viciously upon impact. The explosion caught Kefka completely by surprise, sending the Genocidal Jester reeling backwards and into the floor. He skid a few feet, wincing from the impact while debris of the hall's corner washed over him. A scowl could be heard, then a cry of rage while Kefka screamed from within the hall. "UGH! How DARE you!! I hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate HAAAAAATE YOU!!" Kefka was literally jumping up and down with anger, shaking as the adrenaline pumped through his system. He stomped, marching towards the new edge of the hallway and peered around the corner to figure out who attacked him. The Redheaded Sephiroth? No, and certainly the little girl couldn't... Wait, she was gone! In her place was some woman with a whip... Kefka stretched out his arm, preparing to snap his fingers when he noticed something his Cyan Manikin was up to... Something very Sephiroth. The manikin watched as Genesis retreated to the second floor, its eyes solely focused upon the One Winged Angel. It merely snorted at his taunt, before its distorted cry filled the air as it was struck by the powerful beam of energy released by Namine and send hurtling into the ground. Slowly it picked itself up, looking upwards towards Genesis once more. It had already picked its victim, it wouldn't let go of its chase just because of a silly game of numbers. Tightening its grip on Masamune, it leaped into the air after its quarry only to be consumed by the rain of Flash, vanishing into the fireball before falling back to the ground. Instead of slashing its way through the ball, it let it naturally start to fade, raising its arm within the flames while they died down... A black orb in its hand. It now that Kefka would peek around the corner, watching as a cyan aura began emanating from the manikin. "Oooooh, I know that attack from anywhere! Yes, yes!! But... It takes time to charge. With the others distracted, Mr Firehead's the only concern. Let's make sure he has the time to finish..." With a dark chuckle Kefka extended his arm again, snapping his fingers to cast Trine on Genesis. The three blue triangles formed around the crimson one, twirling through the air as they converged upon his position. Then, as an added distraction... "WHOA-ohohohohohohohohohooooo~!! You're doing well so, my friend, but soon you'll just go... KERSPLAT!!" Kefka laughed again, a smirk forming on the manikin's face. "Too late for laments." It said simply, throwing its arm downward with the orb vanishing from sight. Above Genesis formed a swirling portal of black clouds, from which descended a large meteor. Anyone who had seen Sephiroth's first attack on Gaia would recognize the shape of the Meteor, a large rock with a tail of smaller ones trailing behind it as it descended. Regardless if Genesis was caught by it or not, it continued its descent until hitting the floor of the second level, erupting in a powerful explosion that consumed the room. The area of impact shattered, sending splinters through the air alongside the remnants of rock that rained around the position. Kefka could only watch on with a sick grin on his face, pleased at the destruction the attack caused. The manikin kept its eyes on Genesis, prepared for whatever happened next. Chaos? They'd seen nothing yet. ------------------------------ Abilities Used: Trine Four Post Cooldown, Two Post Status Effect Silence: Opponent cannot use magic of any type while inflicted with this status!

The strange guy in the hood answered many questions as he spoke. The man in red called Genesis seemed to be against whoever this guy was, so maybe that was a sign that glasses boy was an enemy and the other was an ally. She could be wrong, but the way the younger girl reacted to the guy with glasses, she was thinking she was safe not worrying about the guy in red. In any case, the guy with glasses kept talking, giving her more information about the situation at hand. The man in red and the young girl seemed to have met the guy before, with the man in red—Genesis—knowing him even better than the girl. As she continued to listen, this guy—what was he called again, Mordred?— confirmed there was indeed another person there hidden. A jester was what he said. Now whether the man meant this on a literal level or was simply insulting someone’s behavior was something she could not tell. In any case, Mordred eventually turned to her and answered her question mentioning something about being a judge of Hearts. A judge of Hearts? What did that mean?
Fang was on the edge of questioning the guy’s words, when the last of the guests decided to arrive and caused her to put her questions on hold for a moment. This new guy was noisy when he came in seeking a “worthy foe”. Fang looked passed Mordred and spied the big guy that was making such a ruckus and reeked of chaos. Well, he certainly could talk a big talk, but could he back up his words? Fang was just thinking about how fun it would be to see what the big guy could do when something caught her attention and she looked away turning her attention back to Mordred and the girl. The girl…she had changed into some woman and was now attacking. She aimed strange energy beams at what Fang only assumed were the enemies. Then the woman was attacking the one called Mordred. As their battle began, Fang took note that Genesis and that doll thing was fighting now and the hidden foe finally revealed himself by screaming out at the woman’s beam attack that either hit him or caught him off guard. By the way the guy was yelling, he sounded like a child throwing a tantrum, but the voice definitely did not belong to a kid. Okay, so the hidden dude was unstable. Not her problem at the moment. Trusting the girl and Genesis to handle their share of the battle, Fang began put her focus towards the armored guy below. She was on the edge of doing her own attack, when Mordred suddenly looked at her before jumping out of the way. As soon as he did, Fang had a split to react to the on-coming attacking. Stepping quickly to her left, the bladed whip sailed by her, missing her by inches, before smashing into the wall close by. As the thing began to return to its owner, Fang moved quickly from her spot, pulling out her weapon, and hopping over the railing of the second floor. As she did this, she was careful not to get caught up in the battle between the doll and Genesis. She landed in a light crouch before getting to her feet and taking off at full speed towards the armored guy, making a stab at him with the spear when she was within range. The attack was more to get him to back up outside and give them more room than to actually hurt him; however, the wide horizontal swing that followed was another matter. That strike was aimed with care as she tried to do some damage by trying to make a strike somewhere on the guy's chest, but with all that armor she wondered how much he'd feel the pain if she was sucessful. Would any of her attacks phase him at all? _____________________________________________________________________

Beautiful! Simply beautiful! The pointless prattle that had gone on for long too much had ended, and now the glorious music of battle had taken its place. The fight had begun in full, as the man in red countered the Sephiroth Manikin, the woman in blue accepted his challenge, and the white vessel had, in an admittedly odd turn, had changed from her weaker form into a body that could perhaps actually provide a challenge, and as one of her first signs of aggression, she sent out another empty vessel to attack Garland. Admittedly, a shame. He would have preferred to fight her at her best rather than her minion, but it would suffice for now. Soon, this would become a massacre.
Ah, but what was this? A scream of rage declaring nothing but hate? It seemed the jester was here after all. Not only that, the black-clad researcher had challenged his kin, the woman who had transformed. It seemed that perhaps he was an ally albeit a temporary one. Perhaps he would have his uses as a soldier, but that would be determined later.
The Manikin was attacking, and he took after his originator. He summoned a smaller version of Meteor, yet even that had the capability to decimate most of the room. Garland watched the destructive celestial body fall, yet due to being far away, the actual body did little to him. The collateral damage to the room was massive, however, with splinters and rock bouncing off his armor. A minor trifle, certainly nothing to stop a massive giant like himself.
Garland continued the trend of destruction to the room, pulling the arc of the blade so it smashed through the walls of the room and through the floor until it finally connected back into the handle of his blade. Again, he was ready to fight.
The Nobody the girl summoned was covering the distance between itself and its target, the Nemesis. Combined with that, the woman in blue was delivering an attack. Neither were much to worry about, yet two birds could be killed with one stone if he planned it out properly. Garland swung his sword in a mighty arc at the white creature coming at him and slammed his blade into the woman’s spear, and planned to take out both the white creature by the combined strike of their two weapons and stop the momentum of the woman’s spear with his massive blade.
However, Garland did not stop his turn. He continued his arc, spinning in place and slashing at the woman two more times with his mighty sword with speed unprecedented for a man of his size nad with his kind of weapon. The final step of his attack came in his blade as it began to transform, with portions of the blade sliding over one another, until finally it made the battle-axe known as Lich. He delivered one more arc, this time with full force of his ax blade, and slammed it into this halberd-carrying woman at an upward angle, completing Round Edge. If the attack connected, she would be launched into the air, and from then, Garland would continue his assault. Her next move would determine whether she was actually worth his time, or simply another to fall by his Chaos-forged steel. Either way, he gained what he wanted; the death and conflict he so ever craved.
___
Round Edge: Garland starts spinning in place with his sword, slamming his swords into his enemy twice. He will then proceed to either switch his sword into axe mode and launch his enemy into the air, or he will dismantle his sword into two and stab it into his foe with a four hit combo, the first strike dealing regular damage, the second staggering said foe, and the third crushing their guard completely, allowing the fourth strike to deal even more damage. This attack has a cooldown of three posts.

Naminé/Maurelle’s whip hit the middle of the Reaper with a clash. The whip fell to the stairs and the transformed witch stopped just short of the Mordred looking into his cold eyes. “Yes I know Vivi. And you are the person that is putting him through hell now.” She watched as the other Nobody tilted his head at her. Her breathing got heaver. He was just like the other Nobodies that inhabited the Organization. He had no consideration for the people that did have hearts. He not only didn’t have a heart, but in her opinion, he didn’t have a soul either, and that alone made him very dangerous. “I-I don’t know why I care for him…or even if I do care…I am a Nobody after all.” She said to the man with a shaken voice of the person she was posing as. “Maybe I am just feeling what my Somebody would feel in this situation. Unlike most Nobodies, my other half and I are currently in exists in the same space and dimension, maybe that has something to do with. Maybe these feelings aren’t my own, but right now I don’t care. I just know that he is hurting and it is your fault.” Naminé’s eyes began to fill up with Darkness. She felt weird like she was being taken over. She had only taken this form once before and didn’t stay in for this long. It was the first time that she had turned into someone without a heart, someone that is filled with pure darkness. She tried to focus on the words that Mordred was saying but the darkness was taken her over at a fast rate. “I-I am not playing Pretend.” She coughed out as she attempted to keep the transformed body under control. “ I-I j-just have lost e-enough battles to know I can’t stand against you on my own power.” Her entire body began to shake. Naminé/Maurelle fell to her knees on the stairs as Mordred jumped over the young girl. Just before Mordred’s Reaper began its slashes, The Heartless/Nobody smirked and with lightening speed she stood up, whipped around, she flicked her wrist had wrapped the reaper up, entangling it in the darkness of her weapon. “You want to dance, fine let’s dance.” Said the voice that had no trace of Naminé anywhere in it. The girl in black twirled behind the Nobody and attempted wrapped him up in her whip along with his weapon. As she passed the man, the quick downward thrust of his weapon cut her she cheek. She wiped the blood from her cheek off with her hand and then processed to like the blood she had wiped off like a cat giving itself a bath. She smirks once again. She jerked the whip to send whatever was wrapped up in it in to a spin. Then she once again sent the whip of darkness into the air after Mordred several more times. Darkness poured from all around her. The Nobodies that Namine had originally sent out got could no longer sense there master. The Darkness had taken over the young girl to the point that where the Dusk didn’t even recognize her. The empty vessels disappeared right before the meteor was conjuried. “Tsk, useless creatures.” The women said rather annoyed by this sudden set back. Naminé/Maurelle seen that the rock was getting dangerous close and really didn’t feel like having the battle end there. After all what is darkness without a little Chaos? She stopped her whipping at Mordred and turned her attention to the Meteor. She whipped her dark weapon at it instead. Using her Whip’s Abilities with several quick slashes, the Meteor was cut in to small pieces. The pieces showered all those that were on the ground. “Humph.”Naminé/Maurelle turned towards the jester. A terrifying blaze burned from her eyes. She sped towards the clown at lightning speed her whip aiming straight for his heart. “Die!” She yelled. All of the sudden a pausing sensation flooded her body. The women in black froze as if someone had hit the pause button. “No! Please stop! I-I don’t want to kill anyone! I made a promise to a friend. I-I can’t do this…I-I never would take a life.” Naminé’s voice came through the body that was taken over by the darkness that surrounded the being she had transformed into. The whip had vanished from the women’s hand for the ability to use the weapon’s of the person that she was had run out. The girl covered her head as if she was being tortured. “Help me.” Was the last thing that came in Naminé’s voice. Naminé/Maurelle stood up. It would seem as if the memory witch was unable to handle the darkness that came with the form that she had chosen to take and now it has taken her over. “Well I might not have the whip anymore but lets see what else this little girl can do.” The women in black said with a dark smirk This transformation maybe the last mistake that Naminé ever makes. {OCC:
