~Lost again it seems?~ The young looking man with platinum hair thought to himself angrily as he continued to walk on, glancing up at the walls and the ceiling, taking in all the gothic style sights. Statues, wall decorations. It was like walking through Oogie's Manor almost, just not so scary. Yet the figure of the Riku look-alike, clad in black leather felt rather at home in this place. The darkness... He was drawn to it like a moth is to a flame, yet Kadaj didn't want to get burnt, as whenever he noticed another heartless, the avatar of Sephiroth would draw his twin bladed katana, his Souba and slash away until nothing was left except a poof of black, shadowy smoke and a heart floating up into the sky that shortly vanished.
Mind you, this was starting to become tired after a while, and this new world that he found himself in after departing from Neverland after a tough fight against Rosso the Crimson, Kadaj only found himself having to battle his way through hordes and hordes of more and more Heartless. That was however, until he reached the Great Hall.
There didn't seem to be any heartless in this area but the presence of Darkness was unmistakably clear, even to Kadaj who'd only been in this land a short while. His dark heart pulsing painfully every now and then as the Heartless and the Darkness tried to take his heart away from him, but the Riku look-alike was strong and he was determined to find a way to battle this Darkness and eventually take control of it... if that was at all possible...
Upon finding that the Great Hall was, for the moment, Heartless free and seeming to be a safe place to rest, he did just that, walking slowly over towards over of the large class containers that was securely fitted into the wall. The platinum haired man lifted up his gloved hand and placed his palm against the crystal clear glass.
"What were these used for...?" Sephiroth's avatar spoke out loud to himself as he turned his head to one side and noticed that there were a few more of these containers. They were easily big enough to fit a human being inside.

A Riku Replica...? Maleficent had watched Kadaj from a different room in the castle with a crystal orb that a fake psychic would use to tell the future. But those fakes don't know what these crystals were only meant for to see the past and the current present.
The witch watched him slay each Heartless in this area with his double blade in a similar style to Riku's; merciless and with a grace that made it almost like a dance. He seemed to be in pain everytime a Heartless gets near him though; was it similar to Riku's fall to Ansem the Heartless?
When Kadaj entered the Great Hall and heading towards the glass caskets, Maleficent had quietly teleported so the door closed right when she appeared right in front of the door. It was unlikely that the Remnant was too busy to noticed her if he was untrained in the Dark.
She raised a brow when the Riku-look-alike brushed his hand against them as if he remembered something from his past, likely unpleasant. Then he asked this question aloud and the witch decided to answer.
"What were these used for...? "They were used to contain the Seven Princesses of Heart while we used their hearts to open the Door to Kingdom Hearts. Not a success but the Door opened only to be closed by the Keybearer later on."What a surprise would his reaction be...

Princesses of Heart? Kingdom Hearts? A keybarer?
Keldric had been inside the Great Hall exploring before Kadaj had arrived, fighting off Heartless while he looked around the strange and eerie castle interior. From his observations, it appeared that this room was the highest floor in the castle, but it lead to a dead end. He had seen the strange glass spheres beforehand, too big and important for simply decoration, and wondered what was kept in there. His mind unable to come up with an answer, he had wandered off up the stairs, where his eyes lay upon a bunch of pipes surrounding... a keyhole.
Keyhole... keyblade? He had always wondered what the significance was of his weapon being shaped like a key was, until now. He suddenly made the connection with the two as he held his keyblade up, wondering what would happen if he put his keyblade inside the keyhole and turned it. Would a door it was set into open up, or would something else happen?
Before he could put this into motion after any further thought, he heard footsteps behind him, followed by the swoosh of the incoming person destroying Heartless. With keyholes and keyblades still in his mind, Keldric assumed that in a dark place with a keyhole, they might have been a keyblader. Maybe if he could watch and observe what they did with their keyblade to the keyhole, maybe he would be one step closer to unravelling the mystery behind all of this.
So he decided to hide, thinking it was a bad idea if the keyblader could sense his darkness, but it was too late to have second thoughts as he heard approaching footsteps. That is, until he saw a familiar silver-haired man stride into the room, wielding a double-bladed sword. It wasn't a keyblader like him, after all. What was his name? Something odd... Ka... Kad... Kadaj! That was it.
Kadaj spoke aloud to himself as he asked what the glass capsules were for, and Keldric almost laughed out loud, if it wasn't for the fact he recognised that trait within himself. He had done it before, out of pure wonder, when he once had seen a keyblader graveyard out in the middle of the desert with Malificent.
He was about to step out and make his presence known to Kadaj, when speak of the devil, Malificent appeared in a green flash as if reading his mind. What was the witch doing here? He paused, listening in as she answered Kadaj's question, and the young keyblader opened his mouth in a silent gasp of pure shock. And that's what had lead him to his first thoughts as his mind recalled everything he had heard, understanding what this must have meant.
Princesses of Heart? Kingdom Hearts? A keybarer?
He had met a Princess of Heart once... and also at the time, met a girl his age who he considered a princess. Keldric smiled as he remembered his first encounter with Naminé - she had been in Twilight Town with Cinderella and her Fairy Godmother, who had given Cinderella the offical former title. So his mind clicked, as he imagined Cinderella, lifeless, eyes closed as Malificent used her. Cinderella was a good person... but so was Malificent, right? He had his suspicions about her appearence when they first met, but Malificent had healed him, and led him to a keyblader. Which led him back full circle to the memory of being in the keyblade field. None the less, this must have meant Cinderella and Malificent were working together to open a door... a door to something Malificent had called, 'Kingdom Hearts'.
He wasn't sure what that was refering to exactly, but he was sure he would find out soon enough. What he was more focused on was the mention from Malificent that a keybearer had closed the door after they opened it. He wandered why Malificent had not mentioned it before... maybe it was simply because of 'don't ask, don't tell'.
Well, he was about to find out. Kadaj and Malificent weren't stupid, they were going to detect his presence eventually, so it was about time he made himself fully aware to him.
"Kadaj... Malificent. Hey." he spoke up amusingly, nodding slightly towards the two respectfully, as he stepped out from behind the piping that was concealing his body, and looked at the latter of the two he had greeted. "What keyblader? And what is Kingdom Hearts...?" he questioned Malificent curiously, knowing Kadaj would probably be interested in the answers too.

The gloved hand of Kadaj squeaked gently as he lowered his hand, sliding his palm across the glass slightly and leaving a slight smudge stain on the prefect glass. His eyes flashed slightly as their Mako enhanced, turquoise glow glanced across the room to the opposite side, where again he saw more of these glass containers. Running a hand through his hair, the avatar of Sephiroth walked away from the glass container that now bared the slight imprint of his hand. Questions were flying through his head all the time as he headed into the middle of the room and glanced to his left, looking down the hall away from the doors he entered to reach this room.
Ahead of him, he saw some stairs, and from where he was standing, it seemed that the stairs split into different directions to circle around a raised platform where the oddly shaped keyhole was residing, yet Kadaj was too far away to actually see the keyhole. Thats when he heard a voice come from behind him, as he instantly span around and drew his Souba, pointing the weapon in the direction of the tall, black cloaked woman with a pale green face and bright green eyes. Kadaj's constant, cold stare looked the witch up and down a couple of times as she spoke to him, explaining what the glass containers were once used for.
"They were used to contain the Seven Princesses of Heart while we used their hearts to open the Door to Kingdom Hearts. Not a success but the Door opened only to be closed by the Keybearer later on."
What on earth was she talking about? The Severn Princesses of Heart? Kingdom Hearts? Yet the word Keybarer, rang a bell within his mind. The platinum haired man was sure he had heard something similar to that before and had perhaps even met one on his travels around the worlds in search of his brothers, Loz and Yazoo. Maybe... although he wasn't 100% sure at the moment, as he was till confused as to what a Keybarer was and what they did. I'm sure he'd find out those answers sooner or later.
"Who are you? Were you following me?!" He said in a stiff tone, demanding answers from the black cloaked woman. His kept his eyes locked onto her and his hand tightly wrapped around his weapon. Kadaj could feel a strong... the strongest source of Darkness radiating from this woman that he had felt from anyone else. Thats when he heard the voice and felt the presence of someone who he'd had met on his travels in the past. There was no mistake about it. Keldric, the young, dark hearted keybarer who he met in Radiant Garden with DiZ had found his way here as well it seemed, yet the platinum haired, Riku look-alike kept his eyes focused on the woman who he felt was a much larger threat.

"Who are you?! And why are you following me?!" "I should be asking you the same thing since you are in my domain."The witch chuckled at the Remnant's reaction at her sudden appearance as it seemed that most warriors have this reaction to her now a days. Doesn't know why though she may have an idea of what it might be.
Kadaj's hand had caused the glass case to squeak and leave a stain the the crystal clear glass. Oh well. Maleficent already had her doubts that these caskets would ever be put to use again. She had watched him walk on the platform, towards the keyhole of which the Seven Purest Hearts were needed to open it and reveal the true keyhole of Hallow Bastion.
Kadaj had turned towards her with an untamed look on his face when he had spited those words at her as he accused her of stalking. No such thing as stalking when this place is your dwelling...And there happened to be an intruder there.
"Kadaj...Maleficent...Hey."
It was then that the witch had finally took note of Keldric's prescence but she would ask him the question on how he gotten here later. But the dark keybearer had known his name, surely he had met the Riku look-alike before.
"You know him?"
"What keybearer? What is Kingdom Hearts...?" Ho, the boy asks really good questions! He asks, there must come an answer. "Sora. He is also a keybearer like you. And Kingdom Hearts is a forgotten place of untold hearts and wisdom. But to open its door, you have to gather seven maidens of the purest of heart. They are called the Princesses of Heart. When I asked them to help to open the door, they were willing but they had to be held in those glass caskets so the Heartless won't be able to reach them.
My plan was to open the door so we could share its wisdom to the rest of its world but alas...Sora sealed it before I had a chance to as much take a peek inside....It was a shame as afterwards I was severly wounded by his friend, Riku, and he was my other keybearing apprentice since he had wanted me to teach him the powers of the dark and how to control them. I had barely made it out alive." A web of lies Maleficent weaves but some of this information still held some truth. It is Keldric's and Kadaj's choice of whether to believe it all, most of it, some it or none of it at all.

My domain?
So this world was Malificent's homeworld... the dark interiors of the castle and the magic it seemed to withhold within it's wall seemed to suit her almost perfectly. Speaking of the world, Malificent had asked him a question before he could get an answer to his, about where he knew Kadaj.
"Oh, I met him earlier, on the other side of this castle in the part of the world called Radient Garden." he explained. He would have explained further about DiZ being there and how he had sealed off the darkness in Kadaj's heart, but he wasn't sure how Kadaj's mood was going to fare if he broke the patient-doctor confidentiality they had going on, if he would like Malificent to know he had a problem with the darkness.
So his attention was diverted as Malificent explained about Kingdom Hearts, the Princesses of Hearts role and the keyblader that had closed the keyhole they had opened. And once again, Sora's name was brought up. Sora, is there any story in this universe involving a keyblader that isn't you? he wondered in his head, listening to the rest of the details of the story.
First of all, about Kingdom Hearts. So the place was filled with untold hearts and wisdom... now he understood the importance of the keyhole and his keyblade! The lock was to protect Kingdom Hearts from being opened, as the Heartless were infamous for going after hearts. So it made sense the Princesses of Heart were protected inside these glass containers on the walls from the Heartless if they had pure hearts - Keldric remembered the insane amounts of Heartless that had appeared to try to steal Cinderella's heart, and felt fortunate he had been there to help her and Naminé so they wouldn't get overwhelmed. Protecting seven Princesses of Heart... now that would have been difficult. And from having met Cinderella and hearing what Malificent said, it confirmed in his mind what the Fairy Godmother had said about Cinderella being a Princess of Heart.
He wondered what Malificent meant when she said she wanted to share it's wisdom with the rest of the world. She had also said it was a forgotten place... so what was it, exactly? A library full of innocent people, or something? That would make sense, being in a castle and all. But what sort of information would something like a library have that the rest of the world didn't? He filed a summary of these questions into the back of his mind for later querying.
So Sora had sealed it... wasn't Sora a good keyblader? But Malificent had been kind to him, too. Was there some sort of argument between them? He could understand if Sora wanted to seal it, as knowledge or wisdom could prove dangerous sometimes, depending on what it was about, or who. But he blinked in surprise when Malificent mentioned his friend called Riku attacked her and almost left her for dead... who was he? Another keyblader, this Riku?
Slowly, he started summarising the questions he wanted answered in his head, and once he had them he looked up with his sheer azure eyes from the floor reguarding Kadaj as he looked up at Malificent.
"So, this wisdom inside Kingdom Hearts... what do you mean by that, exactly? Why did Sora want to seal the keyhole? And if Riku was your apprentice that wanted to learn about the darkness, then why did he attack you?" he condensed the questions as much as he could, from the many that were still buzzing around inside his head.
Malificent seemed like the innocent party in this story... if Sora was stopping her plans and his friend Riku was attacking her, the stories about Sora being a good keyblader were starting to be put into doubt in his mind. He had met the keyblader once before, but he always suspected there was something more about him, and wanted to know all sides of the story before finally making a decision about who he was...

Kadaj took a step back from maleficent when she started to speak, answering his question about who she was and whether or not she was stalking him. The young male kept his weapon tightly gripped in his hands, the blade pointing towards the black cloaked witch still, a strong neutral stance. His cold, mako glowing eyes were still locked on to those of Maleficent as she mentioned that this was her domain. The Riku look-alike continued to stare at her from behind his silvery hair that fell in front of his eyes as the sound of Keldric's voice echoed around the room slightly as he started to speak back to the witch.
The avatar of Sephiroth turned slightly and looked over his shoulder, breaking the staring contest and the tension he felt towards Maleficent, and shot a similar glare to Keldric as he had done to the black wearing witch. So it WAS Keldric. The young lad hadn't thought wrong after all. He felt Keldric's presence and could sense the traces of darkness within his heart as easily as he could when he first met him back at Radiant Garden. But his darkness was nothing compared to that of his own... yet even that was dwindled out by the sheer scale of the darkness he felt from Maleficent. Although that might terrify some, it actually brought some sort of ease and comfort to Kadaj. The witch was power... very power. Perhaps he'd be able to learn some things from her.
Yet for the time being he waited and listened to the conversation that was going on between herself and the young, blonde haired boy, listening carefully as he know even less about everything within the world of Kingdom Hearts, yet he knew a few bits and pieces from when he first arrived at Destiny Island and bumped into Naminé. She told him much about what Heartless were and what they resembled. She also explained about Nobodies and mentioned something about Keybarers, yet the young, platinum haired mans head was still cloudy and confused.
~So these, Sora and Riku characters... they are Keybarers as well? I thought I noticed that Keldric wield some unusual looking weapon... so there are three keybarers?~ He thought to himself as he returned his eyes from Keldric and glared back at Maleficent, almost out of habbit. He certainly didn't want to get into a fight with this witch, especially since the young, platinum haired man hadn't gained much of his strength or power back yet.

"Oh, I met him earlier, on the other side of this castle in the part of the world called Radiant Garden."
Maleficent only nodded in understanding as she now knew how Keldric knew Kadaj. So far all she knew that Kadaj was an aquaintance of this Dark Keybearer and had a striking resemblance to Riku....Would that cause a unnecessary fight if their last encounter had made them enemies?
The staring contest continued with her and Kadaj but the witch didn't dare to blink until he glared at Keldric. He had kept his blade towards her but the sorceress could already see the Darkness within the Remnant's own heart...It was more than Riku could ever allow into his heart without going to a panic spasm.
"So, this wisdom inside Kingdom Hearts...What do you mean by that exactly? Why did Sora want to seal the keyhole? And if Riku was your apprentice that wanted the Darkness, why did he attack you?"
"Good questions, dear one...Sora didn't want us to open Kingdom Hearts for the greater good so he and his other two lackeys, Donald and Goofy, came and ruined our chances.
As for Riku, he allowed the power of darkness cloud his mind and it made him believe that he was much more powerful than me. If I hadn't survived, it would have been one of those sad stories of when the students kill their teachers."

"Oh, I see." Keldric nodded, accepting Malificent's answers, but in his mind there was still a little bit of nagging doubt that warned him that something wasn't right. He had noticed Malificent hadn't answered him about what was inside Kingdom Hearts exactly, what she meant by 'wisdom' or even what Kingdom Hearts was. But those thoughts were disreguarded when she mentioned about his two associates, called Donald and Goofy... more keybladers? And that Sora had prevented a 'greater good'. The term 'greater good' was thrown around a lot nowdays and used to be left interpreted by the speaker...
He looked a little stunned at Malificent's last revealation. "The darkness can cloud minds, as well as take away hearts, too?" he asked in surprise, before he could even think about saying that. Panic gripped his chest. Was there any evil thing this darkness could not do? What if his mind was already shrouded in darkness, and he didn't know it?
"Well, I'm glad you survived Malificent, and that you probably learned from your mistakes from him." Keldric offered to Malificent, believing now she was the innocent party. There was a lot of questions he would have to get out of Sora and friends, but he was more concerned at the moment with mastering his darkness first. "So Malificent, do you think you know how I could stop the darkness from clouding our mind?" he suggested, considering he was helping him out with his condition over his heart that he was keeping from Malificent. On that thought, looking at the witch, he considered something else as she looked like she was busy eyeing Kadaj.
"Or, you know, if you're busy now... maybe you could get your apprentice to teach us."

Kadaj shook his head a couple of times before suddenly stepping forwards after Maleficent and Keldric had finished speaking. The platinum haired man lifted up his Souba for a second, before looking into the eyes of the black donned witch for a second, before lowering his arm and sheathing the twin bladed weapon back into his scabbard that hung gracefully from the Remnant's back. He then folded his arms across each other and prepared himself to ask Maleficent his own questions... yet not regarding Keybarer's or Keyholes or even Kingdom Hearts. There was simply one thing on the Remnants mind.
"You seem pretty adapt in these... Dark Arts..." He started to speak quietly towards Maleficent, although his voice was loud enough for both the witch and the young, dark hearted Keybarer to hear him. The tone in his voice sounded intrigued and interested. "I know this because I can sense it... feel it within you... Just like I can feel the darkness within the boy..." He continued as he turned around after finishing this sentence and looking towards Keldric with a sly grin and a cold stare, before looking back at the witch and continuing with what he wanted to say.
"But what I want to know, is that instead of getting rid or to reduce the amount of the darkness within our hearts, is there a way to increase it, to control this darkness and use its powers?" Kadaj needed to get stronger, that was a fact! If the Remnant wanted to meet up and rejoin his brothers once more, then he needed to become stronger, and more adept at using the darkness for his own doings. The Remnant glared at Maleficent for a second, but instead of waiting for an answer, he lifted up one of his arms from across his chest and pointed at Keldric, turning his body slightly to half face him.
"I ask you this because when I first met the boy here, another man named DiZ, did something to me... he made the darkness sleep within my heart for fear it would take control of my heart, and when he did this, I felt so... weak... and helpless!" He finished up now, returning his turquoise, make imbued eyes back to the black clad witch in front of him.

"Oh, I see. The darkness can cloud minds as well as hearts too?"
Keldric seemed to digest her information, no matter how partially true it was, and was surprised when the witch gave the presumption on why Riku tried to kill her. Maleficent didn't know why Riku had tried to kill her in the first place but allowing the Darkness into his mind was a logical one.
The sorceress only gave a nod as Keldric expressed his pity towards the witch when he heard of the supposed story on how and why Riku had attempted to kill her.
"So Maleficent, do you think you know how I could to stop the Darkness from cloudingour mind? Or if,you know, you're busy now...Maybe you could get your apprentice to teach us. "
"Yes...The Darkness can cloud minds but it takes one with a strong heart to keep it away from his mind. But as getting my last apprentice to teach you, he had stopped using the Darkness a long time ago and returned to the Light thank to the lies of Sora."
It was partially true. Riku had returned to the Light but not for this reason. It was for reasons unknown that he had used the Darkness until the sudden explosion of Ansem's machine and possibly the stregnth of his Heart to return to the side his best friend was on.
"You seem pretty adapt in these...Dark Arts...I know this because I can sense it...feel it within you...Just like I can feel the Darkness within the boy...But what I want to know, is that instead getting rid of or reduce the amount of Darkness within our Hearts, is there a way to increase it, to control this Darkness and use its powers?"
The witch had almost forgotten Kadaj and his Souba when she had started t answer his questions about Kingdom Hearts, Riku and Sora. But she was relieved, though did not show it, when the Remnant had placed the twin blade back in his sheath.
Kadaj was certainly not like Riku who was afraid of the Darkness in order to ask such bold questions on how to control it. It showed in his Mako eyes that he wanted to become stronger despite whatever handicap he may have.
"I ask you this because when I first met the boy here, another man named DiZ, did something to me...he made the Darkness sleep within my Heart for fear it would take control of my Heart, and when he did this, I felt so...weak...and helpless!"
His desperation to control the Darkness had become a plea for help and though Maleficent does not know who this...DiZ was, she was willing to help Kadaj control it like the witch agreed to help Keldric.
Even if it means removing whatever spell or curse the man had place on him.
"I should be able to remove the spell the man has place on you, Kadaj, and your first lesson will be on how to open a Dark Corridor. This pertains to you also Keldric."
And with that Maleficent aimed her staff at Kadaj and removed the spell from him. He had better be grateful for the gift.

Nodding in understanding to Malificent, the young boy acknowledged he understood what Malificent meant to stop the Darkness from clouding the mind, by having a strong heart. If the heart had to be strong, maybe it would keep the darkness from taking his heart too.
But, what did it mean to have a strong Heart?
He was surprised to hear this Riku friend of Sora's was no longer her apprentice, and didn't blame Malificent if she decided to send him away after trying to kill her. But he was slightly confused by what she said next. ...Gone back to the Light? ...Lies of Sora? he thought, considering the witch sounded angry at Sora, possibly because he ruined her plans, and decided to leave her alone about it for the moment. It was not a good idea to rub in past mistakes on people, and he would figure out this information for himself later.
Especially since Kadaj started wielding around his sword, although moments later he put it back in it's sheath. He listened slightly to the conversation between him and Malificent, and furrowed his brow slightly in a mixture of confusion and precaution when Kadaj glared coldly at him and gave a sly grin. What was all that about? he wondered inside his mind, wondering if he'd ever truly understand the two people in the large hall with him.
He tensed up suddenly when Kadaj pointed a finger at him, almost as if Kadaj was pointing him out for something more than just the mere mention of his presence with DiZ when he first met him. This only made him feel more bewildered towards the silver-haired man. He tried to figure out if this was just normally the way the man acted, or if he had done something to spite the man to dislike him from their earlier encounter. Does this guy have something against me?
Whatever it was, Keldric didn't want to make anything more out of it, as he just wanted to learn to curb and perhaps even increase his dark powers, and now Malificent was offering to teach them how to open a 'Dark Corridor'. Before he could say anything, Malificent raised a hand in a gesture to Kadaj, just like DiZ had. He could feel a slight stirring of darkness in Kadaj, his eyes widening, wondering if Kadaj would start to clutch his chest painfully like he had done when he first met him. Were they about to see the darkness take his heart?
Nothing happened yet, though, and Keldric was certain Malificent seemed to know about the darkness as much as DiZ did to allow Kadaj, or at least someone she was teaching, to have their hearts grasped by the darkness from within. So to break the ice in the silence, he spoke up.
"Dark corridors... Malificent, are they anything like a dark portal, like this?"
In a flash of light, he summoned his Sacred Dusk keyblade into his right hand, and in a large oval motion big enough for himself to walk into he traced a large portal with dark wisps that appeared from the shadowed tip of his keyblade. Within moments, the portal had been created, and a gateway into the shadows and unknown hummed and pulsed inwards with dark energy.
"'Cause if this is a dark corridor, you can save yourself the energy from teaching me. But, notice hom long it took for me to concentrate and make it? I could do it faster, but the portal becomes a lot less stable, and only stays open for a few seconds. If you could teach me a faster way to work with and travel through the darkness without my keyblade, that could be real useful." he considered, smiling, his keyblade disappearing back into nothingness from his hand once more.

Kadaj grinned coldly at Keldric when he got some bewildered and confused looks and reactions back from the young lad, which amused the Remnant as he turned back to Maleficent. He perpared himself for what was about to happen. Ever since DiZ made the darkness within his heart become dormant, the platinum haired male he been training himself, or to more exact words understanding his own heart, to manipulate the darkness to not take over his heart, but to instead make it stronger! Sadly nothing had happened thanks to the spell DiZ put on him, but the moment Maleficent removed and dispelled the effect the Remnant had on him, he felt his heart pulse violently with the darkness once again, which just added to the cold smirk on his face.
"Ahh..... that's more like it..." He gasped with relief as he clenched his hands into tight fists and felt his heart beat without any more restraints again. The darkness emitting from him got several times more intense now as the Remnant felt his strength and power return to its formal self, but this was still only his limits he had reached in Gaia when fighting against Cloud and his goons. A dark aura faintly glowed around the Remnant that blew away and vanished as instantly as it had appeared, like a wind had caught it and carried it into the darkness of the Great Hall.
The platinum haired man stood straight and smiled coldly at Maleficent, but did his best not to show her any malice. He nodded his head slightly as an acknowledgment to her helping him. Although Kadaj has felt much of his strength return to him, he was still serious outclassed by the darkness he felt from Maleficent, and if this apprentice of hers nearly killed her, then he was certainly someone to look out for and avoid until he himself got stronger.
Kadaj's eyes were drawn away from the witch as a bright light appeared next to him as the young Keldric wielded his keyblade and opened up something that appeared to resemble a portal. Curious. This looked just like the thing he entered while back in Gaia, when he first arrived in this crazy world at Destiny Island. Could be it possible to learn to open these portals and find a way back to Gaia, or even better, to find his brothers, Loz and Yazoo? Could it really be possible to gain the power and knowledge to use these portals? Well, according to Maleficent's words, it was. This put a grin on the Remnants lips.

But, notice hom long it took for me to concentrate and make it? I could do it faster, but the portal becomes a lot less stable, and only stays open for a few seconds. If you could teach me a faster way to work with and travel through the darkness without my keyblade, that could be real useful.”Maleficent allowed a smirk to form on her face as Keldric summoned his Dark keyblade and soon after, a Dark Corridor. Apparently he had been practicing this simple trick long before the witch met the Keybearer.
“You won't need a keyblade to summon a Corridor when you master this technique, Keldric. Keep practicing with it in the meanwhile, there will be a time when you will be strong enough to open it without the key.”
“Ahh...That's more like it...” The smirk broadened even more as the witch saw Kadaj's massive energy that appeared and disappeared as fast as it came...All coming from one single source... His Heart. Whoever the man who placed this resistence spell on Kadaj must have been a fool if he did not realize that the Darkness will eventually escape and would have consumed the poor boy if the spell had still remained intact then. But If Then is Gone and there is Now. Now was time to teach the Remnant how to use the Darkness to it's fullest stregnth...Little by little... "I presume you would like to learn how to create a Corridor, Kadaj?"

The boy simply nodded and remained silent for the moment as he slashed his Keyblade through the portal, closing it. Malificent had said this technique, so that implied to him Malificent was going to show him how to practice to open corridors without the keyblade.
He watched as Kadaj seemed to have no negative effects with the seal of DiZ's that Malificent had removed from him, and mentally shuddered as the man grinned at him maliciously. He remembered DiZ's words, how we had a lust for power for the sake of power, rather than to get stronger and use it for more noble intentions like DiZ said he as a keywielder did. That seal had been placed by DiZ to stop the darkness from overwhelming Kadaj's heart on it's own and seizing it to turn him into a Heartless, not to hinder him. It was only meant to be temporary too, and Keldric wondered if he should tell this to DiZ out of concern, but decided against it for the moment, as he didn't fully trust DiZ yet.
Feeling the darkness radiating from the darkness in the silver-haired man's heart, Keldric was beginning to grow a sense of his power, watching as it faded away like an unseen wind had blown a candle flame out into the shadows. If DiZ was right, and this man was or turning evil, his own power might not be enough to stop him. People like Sora and Riku might be powerful enough to stop him, but they weren't always going to be around, and from what Malificent had told him he may not even trust them enough to rely on them. If he was the only one left fighting for all that was good and pure in this world, and he was up against the likes of Kadaj, what hope was there left for the universe? He would have to re-double his efforts and learn how to use new abilities just to stand a chance of surviving, let alone struggle to catch up.
He might have to warn Malificent later on when they were alone about his concerns, and the man had gone, but for the moment he uneasily looked away from the man and exhaling looked expectantly towards the powerful sorceress. A curious, yet uncomfortable look crossed his expression as he folded his arms, waiting patiently.
