Jecht had landed back on the ground after Ultimate Jecht Shot and had to use his sword as a crutch to keep himself from falling over. But the battle had been won, to which Jecht was happy about. He saw Fang come over and hung his head. Now what? How was he going to explain everything to Fang? He sighed, wishing he were better at expressing himself. Instead, when Fang expressed her concern for him. "Yeah, I'm fine, if a little extremely exhausted." Jecht said, a small grin on his face. He looked at Fang and then watched Bahamut disappeared. Your Aeon looks different than the ones on my world. Looks really similar to Bahamut, though." Jecht stretched and little popping sounds could be heard from his back. He also cracked his neck and massaged his shoulder.
"... I've been having to resort to that "other half", or whatever ya wanna call it, too much." Jecht stated that as a mere matter of fact, but in his mind, he was growing concerned. He didn't like that part of himself and wondered if he could do something to, at the very least, not have to rely on it so much. It was a thought, but now wasn't really the time. "Come on, Fang. Let's get out of here or at least find that furball." Jecht then walked, albeit slowly towards any door he could manage to find that would get them out of here.

As Fang approached Jecht, she took note of him bowing his head, but she did not come over to bother him about what had happened. No, she was much too concerned about his health. In any case, he seemed a bit shocked by her question, but then recovering from the shock, he answered. Fang smiled back at him.
“Good to see you’re able to hang in there after all that,” she said and then there was a small silence as Jecht eyes met her for a moment. Her smile faded at his words.
“His name is Bahamut, but in our world they are called Eidolons. They are helpful and loyal, but sometimes a burden to bare,”she said, shaking her head at the thought of Eidolons as Jecht stretched out his muscles causing small popping sounds to come from him, but it did not phase the L’Cie. As she heard his next set of words, she nodded as she observed the concern in his eyes about the form.
“While I am happy the form was on my side, maybe we can find a way around it. I don’t want you falling apart on me from using it so much,” Fang said with a slight smile that could not hide the seriousness of the statement. She was very concerned for her new found friend. If there was a way to help him out then she would. After all, she felt she owed him one after the battle with Anti-Vanille. It was the least she could do.
There was another moment of silence and then Jecht was speaking of leaving. She couldn’t agree more. The sooner they were out of the place the better. As Jecht began to walk, Fang moved along side of him and tossed his arm over her shoulder, helping him along the way. They ended up going from the upside down room to the room they had started their strange adventure in. Going around in one big circle was annoying, but before Fang could express her agitation, the taunting voice of the cat came again.
“How nice to see you alive,” the cat said with a chuckle as it materialized before them. Still holding onto Jecht, Fang narrowed her eyes at the floating cat.
“What is it now, cat?” she nearly growled at the cat.
“Oh nothing, really. I am simply here to hold up my end of the deal. Since you have won, you get your exit,” the cat said and then waving its paw, one of those strange portals opened up to the left side of the cat. With a chuckle and a grin, the cat faded from view...The smile the last thing vanishing from sight.
Sighing inwardly, Fang looked at the portal for a moment and then back at Jecht. “What do think?” she asked, not wanting to take Jecht into danger if he was against trusting the portal. ___________________________________________________________________________________
A Corridor of Darkness has opened. Whether the cat opened it or if it appeared on its own is another matter. What to do?

Jecht chuckled a little. "Braska would've said the same thing. He was the Summoner I Guarded. He was a good friend, given the weight of his task." Jecht took a deep breath and listened to Fang and sighed. "That's the problem, Fang. I'm not sure whose side I'm on in that form. As for finding a way around it, that's... a bit more difficult. Whatever, don't worry about it, Fang. I'll figure out somethin'." Jecht turned and smiled.
And that's when the cat showed up.
Jecht didn't say anything to the creature. He was afraid his words would just string together into incoherant rage before punching the cat in the face. When it opened up the Corridor, though, Jecht was relieved. No, he didn't trust the cat as far as he could throw him and considering Jecht's strength, that was saying something... or maybe it said something about his poor choice of words. Yes, he was sure the Corridor would take him to some place he'd rather not be. However, yes, he was sick of this place.
"Let's go in. It can't be too much worse than this place. If you want to know what I really am, meet me in a world called Spira. I'll tell ya everything." After that, Jecht walked into Corridor, disappearing from view.

Jecht had chuckled at her words and revealed a bit more of his past speaking of someone named Braska, a summoner he use to protect. It was not hard to imagine, Jecht as a protector. He had already shown her that he was quite capable of taking care of himself and defending others within a battle. She was sure the job was a breeze for this guy. In any case, the words went from light hearted to serious as he mentioned the form and how dangerous it was. While Fang didn’t like the idea of leaving the beast untamed out of respect for her friend, she did not push the subject any further.
When the cat came back, she felt the rage radiating from Jecht, but thankful he did not attack and the cat kept its visit short and opened their way out. To her question, Jecht gave her an answer that made her smile. “I suppose you’re right,” she said and then let go of Jecht so he could walk on his own. Before he disappeared into the darkness, he mentioned meeting him on a world called Spira, where he would tell her everything. While she wasn’t sure if she’d ever get to the place, she nodded at Jecht. “I’ll keep the name in mind,” she said and then watched him vanish into the Darkness. With a slight smile on her face, she followed after him glad to leave the crazy world behind her.
As the world empty of most of its outsiders, one of Cheshire’s guests lingered behind where the pair had once stood. As the Corridor snapped shut, the male smiled slightly as single word escaped his mouth.
“Spira…” he said in a whisper before turning and returning to the darkness where his own exit waited for him.
Fang has exited the thread. This thread has end.[/u]
