[Alright, I'd say a limit of 2-3 people actually fighting the heartless. But Others can join if you are part of the Hallow Bastion Restoration Committee.] --- [ Outfit] A pale figure in a bright white dress stepped threw a dark portal. The irony of the image was rather large, but nevertheless, the being took a deep breath of air threw her nose and held it for a moment. Then, after the moment past, the air was briskly released out her mouth as it twisted into a wicked grin. The raven haired women looked into the night-covered town. Now was the time to reek havoc. Now was the time to rip families apart. Now was the time to draw the front lines away from Disney Castle. Now was the time to bring darkness back into rule once more. Maurelle would make sure the world remembered her. The heartless had already twisted a few world into darkness. So, this would not be a first. With a flick of her wrist, the heartless began to emerge from the streets and a few stands in the market place were flipped. Mara laughed, in a feminine way as she glanced back towards the portal. Her partner in crime, Valerius, would be following as soon as he felt like following. While she waited, the calm before the storm ended. Now, the full force of the shock wave was hitting. "What? No welcoming Committee?"

"No. No welcoming committee..."
A figure landed on a rooftop not too far away. A flicker of his tattered crimson cape seemed to enshroud him completely, until gravity caught up and it settled around him. Long, raven black hair framed his face, the majority of it held back by a crimson headband. The buckles on his black bodysuit clattered without noise in the gentle breeze that also blew at his cloak and hair. Having landed in a crouch, he slowly stood up to his full height, revealing golden pointed boots and a golden clawed gauntlet on his right hand. Intense, crimson eyes looked upon the Heartless woman from behind a heightened buckled collar.
The man known as Vincent Valentine considered the woman he could sense as a Heartless for a moment, as if merely fascinated rather than threatened. Then he looked to the Heartless she had summoned, and the chaos they had wrought upon the place. There were countless numbers - how many could he hold back, until the others arrived? Not long, he hoped. Still, like his encounter with Kuja he hoped he could talk from one sentient being to another, and unlike the encounter with Kuja not end it in vicious, unnecessary violence. But if it came to that... so be it.
"... just the Hollow Bastion Restoration Committee." he finished, and looked with a crooked, arrogant smirk at Maurelle, one hand placed on the holster at his hip which held Cerberus.
(Just joining as one of the unofficial parts of the Restoration Committee... just to get the plot moving. I'll exit if there are too many people wanting to fight the Heartless.)

It was night, and the young Princess of Heart was walking through the starlit streets. Perhaps this was not her most intelligent idea, but Kairi wished to explore her once-home when it was night. Distant memories of looking at the stars with her grandmother flashed through her mind. A sharp pain at the memory burned behind her eyes, the pain soon spreading quickly throughout her head. Kairi stopped, the silent echo that had been her footsteps stopping. Any time a memory from her past suddenly appeared in her mind it would leave a dull pain in it's wake. A slender hand reached up, cool palm resting against her forehead, trying to will the pain away. An irony it was, as she had once mentioned to Sora that she did not mind if she never regained her memories, and here she was now.
Kairi could hardly understand why her memories were coming back now when it had been over ten years. A pained sigh escaped her pink lips. Another moment and the headache would disappear, as it always would. Her azure orbs closed, allowing the cooling breeze of the night to comfort her somewhat. Another sigh escaped her lips, and she slowly lowered her hand from her head. Opening her eyes, Kairi looked into the night sky, pink lips curling into a gentle smile, reveling in the memory that had briefly flitted through her mind. The cool breeze brushed back again, the porcelain pallor of her cheeks darkening slightly at the cold. How different Radiant Garden was from Destiny Islands. Not in an entirely bad way, though.
Kairi began to walk once more, her steps reverberating around her once again. It was silent, and what had once been comforting silence before had suddenly become eerie. Her lips pursed together, and the young Princess wrapped her arms about her slender frames in an unconscious gesture. Why had it suddenly become so eerie and cold? Kairi would find her answer soon enough, her head lifting, and her wide azure eyes staring out in shock at the Dark Portal that had appeared. Her bottom lip trembled, an irrational fear suddenly flowing through her frozen veins. The memories of her last encounter with that many Heartless flashed through her mind. She had been fourteen, and had lost her heart because of those very creatures.
Kairi mentally slapped herself, shoving the idiotic fear into the far reached of her mind. With a grim fascination, she watched as the woman in white stepped through the portal, soon summoning a small force of Heartless in her wake. Wonderful, another Heartless who wished to summon darkness. The darkness that had been peaceful now gave the Heartless a cloak to hide under. And speaking of cloaks, a blossom of crimson crossed her vision. Her azure orbs snapped to the figure that had landed on the roof. Kairi stared, her head tilting, taking in the features of the crimson clad man. As she stared, a sudden burst of light blossomed around her hand, the Radiant Destiny keyblade resting comfortably within her hand. She looked away, Heartless suddenly beginning to converge around her, drawn to the purity of her heart.
Kairi almost wished to sigh at the irony of it all. She would always be a beacon for the darkness, even though her heart contained no drop of darkness within her. With purity came the desire to corrupt and twist it into a sickening thing of it's former self. It was something she knew only too well. Kairi ignored the words exchanged from the crimson clad man and the Heartless girl. Her auburn locks slid across her pale cheeks, and she raised her hand, inhaling deeply. Her azure eyes soon widened at what she had finally managed to do. Bright bursts of light would suddenly flutter around the Princess of Heart, decimating nearly a dozen Heartless into nothing. Perhaps all that practice had paid off after all, and Kairi hoped it would.
A grimace was set upon her delicate features, staring up at the woman in white once more. "You will not win so easily," she called out, her voice ringing out lightly. Even though her delicate frame gave nothing of her inner strength, the purity within her heart would surely help within the battle that would be sure to happen about this starlit night.

Yuffie took a little bit to catch up with Vincent since some heartless had suddenly popped up to attack. She swiped with a single attack to kill off the three small little shadows that were there before standing next to Vinnie and peeking over the edge and smile. "Yep, Hallow Bastion Restoration Committee. So, you'd better leave!"
Well, that didn't sound too intimidating. Maybe the fact that Vincent was there would make this really pretty lady go. Though, she didn't understand how this girl was the threat. She looked too innocent to be a nobody. Was she this human heartless horsie thing?
The only thing that would make her think that was the portal she had stepped threw and that Vincent was accusing her of the disruption. Hmm. Well, she had to be here to fight this lady and clear these heartless out of the vicinity. They were already attacking people. Ugh. This was going to be sooo tedious!
With a summersault off the building she started on her way to attack these heartless. Hopefully they wouldn't be too hard to fight. Yuffie landed near Kairi as she peeked over. Kairi seemed to already be fighting the heartless with some light. Good, there was only one heartless person.

"Hm?" Sera had arrived to Radiant Garden a few weeks prior by portal and has been saving up for a her own Gummi ship by doing some odd jobs ranging from simple deliveries to slaying a variety of Heartless. Waiting for a portal to randomly appear isn't good for the heart.
And did you know that the currency in this world is called 'munny'?
Ahem. Getting off topic here. Only in human form this time around, Sera had been exploring night-time Radiant Garden so that she would get a good overview of what it was like. Well, attempt because the Heartless had decided to ruin it for her. With a sigh, the witch unsheathed the katana that was strapped on her back and started to slice 'n dice some weak Shadows. Hm, it seems like Sera wasn't the only night dweller out here. Sera recognized Vincent from his distinct red, tattered cloak but the girls, one with the huge shuriken and the auburned-haired one with a weapon that was oddly shaped like a key, she did not. But the third woman, the one in white, Sera sensed wasn't even human at all.
And that shocked her while it may fascinate others.
"A Heartless in human form?"
But there was something off about Maurelle...
And it was giving Sera the chills.
Oh well, back to Heartless fighting.

Valerius scratched the back of his neck as he stepped out of a dark portal, his sword in hand as he looked around. The first person he noticed was Mara, but she wasn't the only one there. It seemed that in the short time in took for Valerius to follow after Mara quite a party had shown up. A dude in red, and three girls. He could see the gender count was becoming pretty unbalanced.
[orange]"Whats up?"[/orange] He looked between and the group, standing next to Mara to show that he was on her side. He hadn't drawn his weapon yet, since no one else had yet to do so. He looked relaxed, but Valerius was completely ready for battle, he always was.

Maurelle's eyes followed the voice as the heartless spread deeper from the Marketplace. When her eyes met the Crimson Caped man, the image flashed with the one she had seen in Yazoo's head. The smirk appeared. At least they didn't need to worry about him attempting to save Disney Castle. The girl that appeared next to him was from this committee. A friend of Valentine's and a ninja and thief from Gaia. Mmm. This was going to be fun. "Ah, I see. But don't they do the welcoming as well? To bad if they aren't. Hmph." An arrogant and exasperated shrug followed. Even her hands had been lifted and her eyes shut to emphasize this. "Pity."
Her mind's eye also locked on a very bright figure. This girl had a brighter image then the other and she felt drawn to her in a way. Maurelle's attention dwindled from the two Avalanche Members and towards Kairi, the Princess of Heart. the smirk grew. "Hmm. A Princess of Heart? Now this is a pleasant turn! Heh."
With the third and final female, her arrogance shifted away. It was a strange feeling. It was like she had hit some resistance. Well, it wasn't to the extent she couldn't read anything. She could hear what was going threw her mind at that moment. She was sure probing would only lead Sera to figure out Maurelle's power. Though, probing might be the only solution.
Valerius's appearance calmed her 'nerves'. "It seems we have a bit of company that wishes to go down with their world." She smiled and almost chuckled a little in happy way. It wasn't childish, but it wasn't evil sounding. It was an enjoyable laugh. This was going to be fun to do. Ripping a world out from under their feet. Heh.
"Oh, and so you know who to blame when you go and write the history books. I am Maurelle Regalis. It's a pleasure to have met you all." She left space for Valerius to introduce himself if he wanted.

(OOC: Sorry if people have been waiting on me to post... feel free to skip me if the need occurs. I don't think there'll be a posting order if too many people join though, to keep this thread active.)
From the flash of light,Vincent could sense a third figure had entered the scene who was battle-ready. He could see her out of his peripheral vision from his crimson eyes, and her scent was rather unique and alluring. The sound of the chime alerted him also to the fact she wielded a keyblade in her hand. His friends had told him this girl's name was Kairi, and she was a friend of Sora's from his world. How co-incidental she wielded a keyblade, too... still, her light was more than welcome here. But a terrible risk if she were to loose it again to the Heartless, but hopefully Sora would appear so she would have a vessal to migrate to.
Yuffie appeared next to him in a flash, having accompanied him from their true homeworld of Gaia and the meeting there. She already had her weapon out and was slashing Heartless before appearing by her side, but he did not turn his glance from the Heartless woman. The last time he had played a blind eye to a woman, he had his Protomateria yanked out of his chest, and he didn't wish for that to happen again. Although, the same woman who had saved him was standing next to him at that very moment. He could trust Yuffie to watch his back, and watched as she jumped off the roof ahead of him, ready to support her with cover fire from his firearms for the Heartless she missed.
He saw a woman with black hair he thought he recognised, however, whom he wasn't sure he could trust. Sera, the shapeshifter. But she already had her katana out and was slicing and dicing headfirst into battle. Hmph, she reminded him of Cloud in that aspect. As long as she was destroying Heartless, that meant she was on their side. But as another figure stepped out of a portal next to the woman, he had a feeling this was not going to be a one-sided fight after all. The man whom he could sense was a second Horseman asked what was up, as the woman mocked them some more and introduced herself as Maurelle.
"Vincent Valentine. The pleasure is all mine." he said in a interested tone back, his hand brushing back his tattered red cloak to reveal one of his weapons. Hydra, his highpowered rifle. He took it out of his holster and cocked the hammer on the weapon to load it with a sharp click. "Now, if you excuse me, I'm going to end this, for those history books." he said mockingly back at Maurelle, and aimed and fired, destroying a Heartless that had gone after Yuffie. He repeated the shots, snipering the Heartless swarming after the feminine heroes below from the rooftops.

Kairi tensed again, looking to Maurelle warily and with that defiance that so many tired of from her. She could sense the darkness emanating from the woman, but it was not as stifling as the darkness that had come from Kadaj. The remnant had reeked of it, and she nearly flinched at the memory of him. Kairi kept her resolve intact, side stepping a few Heartless that tried to attack her. The shadows were soon immersed in another cloister of lights, destroying them upon target. Kairi found the attack both useful and draining, and she nearly shuddered at the energy she had used already. The young Princess made a mental note to save the consuming light attack for when she really needed it. It was unfair, but she still had very little skill when it came to fighting.
Kairi heard Maurelle's voice, and she threw the Heartless woman a glare. "It won't be very pleasant for you, I can promise that!" she shouted back with an indignant glare. As if she would allow one moment of weaken to come upon herself. The mere memory of losing her heart still made her flinch. It matter not that she could not turn into a Heartless, it still had left scarring memories upon the young woman. Her azure orbs soon moved to Yuffie, who had suddenly appeared next to the crimson clad man. A smile curled upon her lips, glad to see the hyperactive ninja well and ready for a fight. Kairi had not seen her since she had departed Traverse Town all those years ago.
Kairi let herself slide into a defensive stance, her keyblade raised. Kairi inhaled deeply, her gaze widening slightly at the sight of yet another human-formed Heartless appearing. How wonderful for them. Her expression was set into yet another grimace, and she rushed forward as the Heartless began to swarm again. With a gasp of surprise, she jumped back, seeing gunshots killing the Heartless before her. Her gaze turned to the crimson man, now known as Vincent, and she smiled warmly at him in thanks. With a smirk now upon her lips, Kairi swung herself into a horizontal spin, giving her an edge as she took out a few Heartless from all sides. The move was somewhat graceful, but one could tell she still needed practice. The Heartless dispersed, and the Princess kept herself busy with destroying any that came back.

Well, seems her ADD kicked in for the moment as she completely ignored the fact that a second heartless had entered the area. The hyper ninja was calmly looking at the raven haired women. Wasn't she at that meeting Vinnie had? Hmm. The name was escaping her. Maybe she should introduce herself later!
Then the new male voice echoed in her ear. Wait, that wasn't Vinnie!? Her whole body turned to spot another person at the white lady's side. How many of them were going to show up here! They couldn't fight all four of them! Kairi seemed to be having enough trouble with the heartless and Sera was holding up well and Vincent was kinda standing there and looking cool.
Now the white lady spoke again. Wow. Her language was really weird. She spoke with larger words then she probably needed to. But whatever suited her. Still, her arrogance was really annoying. Like they were going to let this lady called Maurelle take their world down! No way!
Yuffie spun with her weapon in her hands, taking out a few heartless around her. But after she released her weapon and it spun and returned to her, she had missed one. Luckily, Vincent had finished pontificating or else she'd of had a nice slice in her back. Go Vinnie! Yuffie smiled at him and gave him a thumbs up before swiping at the ever-growing group of heartless. This was worse the Hollow Bastion! At least they were attacking them, just moving.

Sera silently made a mental note to leave right after the battle. The witch was busy with slicing and dicing when a feeling of someone probbing inside her own mind. Sera felt herself hiss in realization that it was Maurelle who was doing this. The loner had known that something was up with the Heartless and now she knows that Maurelle was psychic. Thus the now stronger mental barrier. Did the others figure Maurelle's psychic ablilty? Just before Vincent's wave of bullets came and destroyed the Heartless around her, Sera had suddenly felt herself tense and stood still. The Heartless seemed to have gone but when the witch ran about two yards ahead to catch up with the other two females, more appeared. Violet eyes glared daggers at the shadow creatures before slicing and dicing again. Heartless extermination could take awhile.

Valerius smirked as Mara said that they were being met by warriors who wished to die with their world, Mara may find the fact amusing, but Valerius respected that. A warriors battle was what he always searched for, and the anticipation of battle was circulating through his being, he couldn't wait to get in the action.
But unfortunately they weren't there to have a awesome fair fight, they were there to win. He sighed as he watched the warriors hack away at the Heartless, while Mara introduced herself. He decided he would do the same. "Valerius, nice to meet you all."[/orange]
He yawned a little, waiting for the warriors to work their way up to the two of them. He grinned at the thought he had, it was like they were the big bosses and the warriors were the players of their game. The only problem with that comparison was that in the video games, the good guys usually one. He shrugged off the thought, win or lose he just wanted a good fight, but that didn't mean he ever went easy on someone, he let loose whenever he could, it was the only way to fight another warrior.
Valerius observed as the man in the red cloak pulled out guns and shot the Heartless, the short haired ninja looking girl was throwing around a giant star, and the red headed girl... She had a Keyblade. Interesting, it'd been a while since he'd faced a Keyblade. The other long haired woman was using a katana, and from the way things were going for the warriors, he could tell that they would be a heck of a challenge.
He looked over at Mara and grinned. [orange]"So Mara, which ones do you want?"[/orange] He wasn't really partial to anyone, but a gun fight with the man in the red cloak sounded appealing to Valerius. He was just excited to have a good battle ahead of him.

A flash of orange and gold sparkles appeared as Rikku teleported to Radiant Garden in her fairy form. She looked around and saw Vincent, Yuffie, a red-head with a keyblade, and a raven-haired woman with a sword were fighting heartless and two other figures - a man and a woman.
"So...I'm assuming they're the bad guys right? Alright, let's do this!" Rikku said as she changed into her regular, larger form and took out her two daggers.
"Get your Heartless tail outta here!" Rikku yelled as she slashed nearby shadow Heartless. She wasn't about to let the Heartless take over, especially in a place where she and her friends had bases.

[The limit on joining has been reached...and overthrown. No more new people! Sorry!]
"Vincent Valentine? Hm, I've heard some interesting stories about you." It was true. Yazoo, as well as a few others. Yuffie seemed to have some entertaining memories and there was a little more information then she originally wanted to know. Still, she was there for one reason and one reason only. This world was to go down under their wrath. It was also a way to weaken the somebodies by diverting attacks. Hm.
'It won't be very pleasant for you, I can promise that!'
Mara laughed. This really was a good crowd. At least they were enthusiastic. The small crowd were being kept busy by the assault of heartless that just kept pouring in. Sadly, there probably wasn't an end to the flow of them. That is, unless the darkness in the area was balanced enough to scare them away. But that was not going to happen soon.
Then she felt the flare in a mental barrier. The horseman's eyes flickered to Sera as a cruel smirk appeared. Another psychic. Oh. Now that was a challenge. Hm.
Maruelle looked to Valerius. (Telepathic to Val)"You can have any of them. You can take Valentine. I want her. Seems we have another physic of sorts. I'd like to test her. Oh, and don't be afraid to ask for help if you need it. We can blind them." All the other people were just physically strong, though Valentine had a strong will and Kairi had a strong heart. Sera was probably going to be her target.
Then appeared a new foe. "Tails? I believe you buffoons are the ones with tails. Trust me, they will be tucked when you retreat." With that, her whip was summoned in case she needed it. Not that she was really a good fighter. Now, her mind shot out to probe Sera a little bit and to test her barrier's limits.

(OOC: Again, it's the holidays, so sorry for my late reply.)
"My reputation preceeds me." Vincent smirked as he replied to Maurelle, stopping for a moment after a loud gunshot only to fire another at a oncoming Heartless going after Kairi. The young princess had smiled up at him, and he nodded back in return, doing the same to Yuffie as she gave him a thumbs up. The next shot was aimed out at a Heartless going after Sera, who seemed to be swarmed by them. Even the rooftops now seemed to be covered in the black creatures. Vincent had to kick at some that came too close before he manovered his position on a rooftop on the other side of the street he had to leap to.
Soon enough, Rikku had joined them, from their meeting on Gaia. Her entry caused more Heartless to sweep towards her, which Vincent responded in kind with deadly accurate shots from his Hydra rifle, leaving Rikku free room to slash away with her daggers. He kept up the pace, trying to leave his allies unharmed as he kept moving along the rooftops, taking out as many Heartless as he could between reloads. The Heartless seemed preoccupied with sizing them up. The woman Heartless called Maurelle had already summoned a whip to her side, indicating the battle for Radient Garden was about to truly begin.
Vincent anaylzed the situation. Most likely, two of his friends would fight the stronger Heartless, while the rest of them kept the lesser ones at bay. Who was going to fight who remained to be seen, though. It would be at his disadvantage if one of the stronger ones were to engage him, as he was providing cover fire for the melee fighters, but on the other hand he would run out of bullets faster than they would run out of energy. More than likely, one of the girls on the ground were going to engage Maurelle and her male counterpart, although the male had a glint in his eye behind his mask which indicated his sights were locked on him. In hindsight, he realized he was the only male fighter on his side, too.
"Hmph... I'll show them what real fighting is." he said, spreading out his tattered cape as he headed over the rooftops for the Heartless man.
